FYI, Forza 3 has an average higher rating than all GT games except for GT3. 92/100 on metacritic. So yeah, it's a 9/10 game, and most reviews youll see refer to it as the best console racing sim ever made, including the IGN and Gametrailers reviews. Suck on that fanboi!
Being loyal to a piece of plastic in general is ridiculous. I own both, my 360 died which was my fault, and I just started playing my PS3. When I feel like fixing my 360, I will, then start playing all the great games ive missed.

This is actually like the 11th month in a row it's outsold the PS3, so I guess they're including the Wii as well by saying 4 months.

^ Genius, the game isnt coming out 3 days later, they missed their deadline to start the production process by 3 days, and therefore had to delay it.
But because they missed it by 3 days, now they need to fix what the problem was and then start production. They dont know when its coming out now.

Thank you for just making my point. It was easy to know it would be delayed, therefore, you shouldnt be surprised. The game was set to come out in 3 weeks, sony BIGGEST franchise, yet next to no hype, sony and PD have been silent, no talk of it going gold, a delay was apparent weeks ago.
Uh, where is this hype you've been seeing? I see a couple previews on some game sites. That's not hype. Ive yet to see a single commercial for this game, no leaked reviews, nothing.
When you get 3 weeks before a Halo release, things are ACTIVE. Tons of buzz flying around, commercials, new mountain dew flavors just for it, there is no hype around gT5 right now. Nothing in the media. Its been very quiet.

You probably have friends who are normal gamers, the kind that would care about FPSs. Well there are a lot of young gamers out there, and older gamers that are parents, and many women that love this motion control stuff.
A lot of them look at controllers as a thing of the past, needlessly complex for what they're looking for. Not everyone is some mindless robot looking to play every crappy FPS that comes out.
Im kind of interested in kinect. I know my girlfriend would like to get it. Much better than another waggle controller like move. Ill pass on that junk. Ive already got a wii.
New 360s are highly unlikely to get it, the percentages of new 360s failing is actually known to be much lower than a PS3 getting the YLOD.
