It's a marketing ploy by both parties.
@jimbobwahey
What you described is exactly what "listening to consumers is". Consumers speak with their wallets, not emails or phone calls (sure enough of these may help a tiny bit). What better way to get your point across then by not pre ordering their system? You just proved your own point....lol
Well I guess we can agree to disagree, I feel like the gameplay and the characters image are the most important aspects of the game, and is essential to keeping those old school Killer Instinct fans. Would you think it was cool to change sub-zero into a naked ice man or if Scorpions head actually looked like a scorpion?
Its cool to tweek and update the gameplay and characters, but the way they changed glacius was a bit much for me. I also feel like Saberwolf is too blue, it s...
I am very interested in this game but Glacius does not look good. He looked cooler in the other ki's and even in the reveal trailer.
IMO they went a little to far in his in changing his design.
Totally agree, I know what I am getting out of the ps4, a powerful system that plays games. The xbox is a jack of all trades and is simply more INTERESTING TO ME. XB1 also has a better lineup at the moment.
I just snagged one :o)
Xbox was in trouble, I can honestly say that it has changed a lot of minds over the past few weeks.
This video is too short, I want more.
Although I a really looking forward to this game, I feel like it is going to be like many games b4 in which it will keep being delayed year after year because it "isn't ready". They are too vague on this game for it to come out this year.
Edit: This is not a launch title, like the article suggest.
The real answer is, whenever Microsoft announces it's release date.
Now I am actually excited to play this game. All of these bs screen shots dont do it for me. Cant wait to play this beast!
ATM it sucks on android, it only works well on windows and apple devices.
@Mr Nuts
I am personally glad to hear this news....at least now there is an option to play this game seriously or just bullshit around. The old way is what turned me off from the game, it was fun for a little while but just became to silly, and I began to wonder why I was playing it.
At least with this new way, I could beat the game (seriously), then come back on my second go around and have fun with it. How could anyone be opposed to that?
Im getting which ever system comes out first. I reserved both.
I have to say that I trust that Sony will produce a few banging titles in the future, but as it stands right now, Microsoft has the better lineup.
I agree, even though this is the game that I am looking forward to the most. I feel like this is one of those games that will be delayed about 3 or 4 times and we may see actual gameplay and release day about 2 years from now.
It is extremely biased and is just looking for hits, this is ridiculous. The author is clearly trolling and people are biting right into it.
This article is complete flamebait and is looking for hits and we ate it up.
Excluding indie games (these are not considered to be games that sell a system), the xbox clearly has more exclusives (at the moment) and yes they are better.
No gamescom games have been announced by either side.
Actually, you can buy the game for $60 like you buy any other game, or you can do it the way that is stated above.
You have a few options on how you want to get this game.
Valkyre, you lost all credibility when you said that the xbox ones exclusive list is poor. To be honest, even though I have reserved both, so far the xbox ones exclusive list is a little more impressive when compared to the ps4's. I don't see how anyone can deny that.
Games that ps4 do not have that xbox 1 does= Titan Fall, Killer Instinct,Forza 4, Halo 5, Project Spark, Dead Rising 3, D4, Quantum break, Ryse, and about 2 more games that I cannot remember the names to...
@parapraxis
Look fanboy.....I work in marketing and i know exactly what a ploy is/means. You would be a fool to believe that Sony or any other big corporation cares about you personally and does not use marketing strategies or marketing ploys to get in your wallet. Whether you want to believe/understand it or not, Sony has and will continue to use ploys to get your money.
Its letting its competitor test the market and responses from gamers, and REACTING accor...
