I can agree with you in that fighting games needed a big graphical leap (a long time ago), but compared to today's standards Killer instinct looks REALLY GOOD!
I.E. look at the hairs on saborwolf's neck, look at Glacius's neck in the select screen, the particles in Jago's fireball, hell the environments are cool as well.

Trust me....if anyone hopes that you are right it's me, if they can price this game @ $60 like any average game I will be truly amazed and it will help solidify and justify (for my girlfriend) buying this game. But with all of the EA charging $80 per game rumors, double Helix being a little vague in their pricing for Killer Instinct, and this game being more than just a game but a full blown tv show that comes with the game. I know that both of my systems are going to give me games, that is a given, but I want to see WHAT ELSE they can do on top of that, and for me xbox is giving me a little more. I really hope the playroom beta comes to the ps4.

You are right, traditionally all games in this tournament are played on ps3.
I only saw a few fight sticks being put into those ps3's, most of them were ps3 controllers.
So what you are telling me is that it is wrong to assume that a large ballroom filled with playstation players wouldn't "boo" a Microsoft only title?
I was watching it the event and those games were being played on playstation 3's so it is likely that they actually were sony fans
