To be honest, I am tired of writing down the exclusive comparisons between the two.
I just find it funny that all of the outside world will agree that the xbox has a better more robust EXCLUSIVE lineup, but then you come to N4G and get a COMPLETLEY different response when comparing the 2.
It's funny how these two consoles and its fans have switched places. Xbox was the cheaper console with a bunch of indie titles with delusional xbox fanboys in denial abo...
Look....I understand that it is popular to take up for Sony these days but lets he real here. Those f2p and indie games are fluff to make up for a weak line up, the majority of those f2p games can be played RIGHT NOW!
Why would you try to use Ryse and DR3 to support your point? That makes no sense! Nothing about those 2 games say "current gen". Knack on the other hand.... :/
When Sony releases those next gen Naughty Dog, Sony Santa Monica etc...game...
I agree with everything he said except the game portion. The ps4 has a very weak launch line up when u compare it to the Xbox 1.
TBH those indie games are possible on my cell phone and are nothing to boast about for a next generation system

Not to sound like a fanboy or anything, and I know this is a sony article, but xbox users have been able to do this for at least 4 years now. Its good that you are able to do it with the playstation now though.
Graphically speaking, Infamous doesn't look like it couldn't be accomplished on the XB1
I wouldn't sit here and say that any game on the xbox looks better than GOW or Uncharted 3, but I will say that it took a VERY long time to get that power out.
The XB1 will be my first choice, you probably will not see the TRUE power/difference of the ps4 until around 2015-2016.

To be honest, for the most part he is right. If we are looking at launch titles, killzone is the only game that looks on part with the xbox one games.
I WANT to get Killer Instinct, Killzone, and Forza. However I am hoping that I am able to play them first. KI will be free!

This is very disappointing! I don't buy games on impulse, I need to try them out first. There will be a lot less arcade games that I buy, but hey...maybe it will save me some money in the long run.
For the exclusive games, and features, and if I had to choose between the pseye and the Kinect...I would go with the Kinect as it will be more powerful than the eye.

It is totally cool for us to disagree, it doesn't bother me at all.
I agree with some of your points, however everything you described about what u like about the ps4, is what I am already enjoying with my 360. The 360 is my families console (we have multiples here), everyone has a profile, and everyone turns it on to play their game of choice, DAILY (with countless indie games). My ps3 is mainly used for exclusives.
