Sorry but those games do not look like they cannot be done on the ps3 or 360.
This does not matter if that "power" isn't being shown.
That is the thing though. Most of this negative talk comes from people who do not own the xb1. They are just looking at a spec sheet and coming to a conclusion. These games look BEAUTIFUL. And after owning both systems the difference isn't as significant as fanboys especially on this site try to make them out to be.
Well the difference is that you are not getting a top of the line sensor with the ps4, its not like the xbox is being sold without kinect at $500.
This made me want to go downstairs and play Forza...lol
This article is either going to get flaming hot or freezing cold. Depending on where the fanboys take it....lets see! LOL
The average consumer/casual cares nothing about "power" nor will they really know the difference in power unless they are told. So I doubt that is what most people are checking for.
What has the ps4 soaring over the xb1 is a good combination of price tag and hype.
I think if they did it, it would be around Christmas time.
I think I get less excited for this game, with every trailer that I see. The graphics look nice, but the game just seems super weird. I am not sure how I feel about it now.
LOL...I doubt it will.
@4show
EXACTLY....these are the exact reasons I own an XB1. The ps4 will have it's great exclusives, hell I am buying another ps4 for Infamous and the Order, but the xb1 is offering a better all around experience at the moment, and PROBABLY throughout 2014.
@GW212 BASED ON THESE SCREEN SHOTS...yes, none of them are touching Ryse. OK...take everything you have seen in the past from The Order, and throw it out of the window. Now look at those screen shots again. They are being covered by shadows and the screen shot is being shown at a distance, you cant see any detail in the facial animations.
My statement is based off of the screenshots that are being presented, I think it will be a tie or The Order may look better when it is all...
Based on these screenshots, I would say no....but like I said, with more footage, we will probably be able to see more detail when the game is closer to launch. These screen shots of the order cover a lot of the faces with dark shadows, so we cant really see the details, while the others are well lit.
Based on these screen shots, nothing is touching Ryse. I think The Order will be very close though when it releases.
Yes...Ryse being the best looking game on consoles is my strong opinion. Someone can disagree if they want!
But what 3rd person action game LOOKS better? You can even throw a pc game in there.
@lightofdarkness
Your numbers may be correct, but these are things that do not really translate in real time, while playing a game (at least for me it doesn't). I am going off of what my eyes can ACTUALLY SEE. 2 big black bars on my tv is something that I ca...
So far, Ryse IS the best looking game on consoles. TBH I would rather have a full screen at 900p than a screen with 2 big black bars @ 1080p, I spent that money on my tv for a reason. So the order looking better than Ryse is an opinion not a fact.
I am pretty sure that if the developers of Ryse went with the "black bar option" they could have achieved 1080p as well.
@masterCornholio Proud of 30fps because it "looks better than Ryse"?? LMAO you fanboys are hilarious man. Please stop...your inner fanboy is showing.
IMO I wouldn't mind 60fps but for 3rd person games 30fps is just fine on ANY GAME on ANY PLATFORM. This game looks awesome so far and I cannot wait to get my hands on it.
You comment is spot on, IMO not liking QTE'S is just the "hip thing" to do right now.
Same here....I am still hyped for the game though. Have they given a release date?
I bought the xb1 for its exclusive games, the coolness, the experience, and my friends.
Bought a ps4 for its exclusive games and raw specs. The price also made the buy easier.
