I can't believe the hype for Destiny and Watch Dogs. This is not a troll, I seriously want to know why people are so hyped for Destiny? It doessn't seem graphically impressive, we don't know much about it, it doesn't seem to be a competitive game...why all the hype? Can someone answer this in a civilized way?

Ummmm....yes and no! If I were to compare any gaming console to the Tickle me Elmo, it would be the original Wii.
The ps4 is not quite at that level and I am pretty confident the no other console ever will be, but at this point it is the closest thing to it.
Sony has done an awesome job, MS has an awesome product with one of the best launch windows of all time but did a poor job in the PR department, also there is a cheaper option available ...

My point is that SALES does not equal a better product. A ps4 being better than an xb1 is subjective.
Edit - In my opinion after owning both consoles, and as a GAMER...the xbox one has provided me with the better gaming experience.
So RIGHT NOW I would say that the xbox one is the better product because it fits more of my needs as a gamer. My ps4 has collected dust, not b...
My thing is, why do we care???? We are gamers, we should not care unless we own stock or shares in one or both of these companies.
The bottom line is that they are both selling well which means that neither console is going anywhere anytime soon.
Are we really that bored??? We as gamers need to focus more on games instead of the politics of gaming, enjoy your systems and chill out.

That's the thing, the majority of consumers are misinformed and buy things because they are hot, not because the need them.
I.E. I sold a ps4 to a woman, she knew nothing about it, all she new is that her son told her that all of his friends are getting them and he wants to play games with them.
Also what you are saying is opinion based, I think an informed gamer should do their best get all three consoles, however I would also tell...
Guys, we have to think about the masses here, not just our own little gaming world. The average person knows nothing about the "power" Gaiki, developer studios, GDDR5 4, 3, 2 or whatever. All they know is that its new, its hot and it fits in the budget.
IMO...it is more so due to
1.) A cheaper price
2.) Because of public perception/PR
Everything else like power, (upcoming) games, ps plus, VR...etc kind of falls in after those things.

Hmmm...I thought this game was already out. I remember playing a demo of it before the ps4 launch.
This game is not my cup of tea (well maybe if I got REALLY bored), but good for those that are interested.

I agree, and to add to that they will still get a version of Titanfall (titanfall 2) in the future.
So in the end, Sony made the right decision for Sony.
Well when you buy exclusive rights to a game, you are basically paying for what the projected sales would have been if it were released on both consoles. For MS it is worth having the game exclusive to the console, only time will tell if it will be beneficial to Capcom or not.
WOW! If true, I wonder why MS wont just buy Capcom? It seems like Capcom us struggling financially and MS likes their games.
I think this could be one of MS big announcements at E3.

Well Halo is a well established franchise and 343 studios made a great Halo, honestly it was the best one I ever played. I always like Halo for its story and soundtrack but the graphics and overall feel of the game always felt outdated to me, until 343 came in and made the game look and feel as good as the story (don't care for any of halo's multiplayer), but what does Halo have to do with this....lol?
Maybe the fact that Bungie is bringing that sam...
