bcoz they weren't really confident that it would create enough hype and anticipation that they would have liked it too. The fact that UC 3 and Forza 4 were getting airtime too, made them piss in their pants maybe.
Irrespective of whatever lame excuse they come up with, I am confident that these might have been the reasons.

It had great potential but it couldn't just materialize perfectly. Nomura must be determined to provided fans with an experience that everyone wanted from the game.
A sequel can actually be amazing given that they listen to the fans. FFXIII's setting was great and I think a sequel could actually work out.
but seriously, the desert setting will be really challenging and yet something unlike anything we have seen before if they can pull it off successfully. I am really excited about how the combat in the desert in going to be as there will be very little cover to have ( if they want it to be realistic), this game is going to surprise people and I want to be surprised for a change.
is becoming the best thing to own right now if you're a gamer. I mean, look at its lineup for 2011. Add Uncharted 3 to that and oh my GOD!

there's no harm in implementiing a solid multiplayer component. The most recent success story was Assassin's Creed: brotherhood. Who would have thought they could have pulled it off but pull if off they did.
The key was that ACB's mp was not similar to the sp of the game. I think ME can opt for something similar, some exicitng modes where you battle against others in arena or galaxies or have objectives to complete. I think it will only enchance and add more valu...
and wish that Earth didn't comprise of most of the game. That's all I want. And yeah, more hotties :D
is one of my most anticipated games for next year, I mean...seriously a game where you can shoot someone's balls off literally, got to be awesome right?
However, good it might be, won't appeal to all section of gamers but Uncharted 3 has a global appeal and although personally I am looking forward to TLG more but I can't deny that UC 3 will def set the bars higher for the PS3 than anything else - released so far or yet to release

Black Ops has been the most fun this year for me. Sure, it's bugged right now but still, it does just enough to make much better than MW2.
ACB has been the real surprise package though
has improved upon almost every aspect of Uncharted 2 and with one year to go still, you can expect nothing but the best from ND.
