which you can ignore, the article is in no way saying that the PS and PS2 were inferior consoles. It's just stating that the availability of modchips boosted the sales of the console by a huge margin in countries outside of those reasons. This is true and there's no denying it, also it states that the rampant piracy is the result of the consoles not being connected to the net which again is valid.

Really? If people can cheat their sorry asses to achieve something, the achievement itself becomes meaningless. Unless Sony can counter this, there's no point haveing achievements at all since it would be a huge disservice to anyone who actually toils there way to unlock the trophies only find some sorry loser at the top the leaderboards, who's hacked his way to the top.
disturbing is that, there are actually people like that in the internet, who'll do that and be happy about it. I just hope Sony can detect it and ban their asses. Than we can have the last laugh about it
