Sorry but thats wrong. You can play No Mans Sky offline, you can't upload discoveries though. The whole universe is contained within the code of the game. No assets are stored anywhere as everything is a mathematical seed which the computer uses to create the game on screen within a certain radius. The only thing hosted on servers are the discoveries that people make.
@kingoftherodeo, think Fromsoft and Naughty Dog might be to disagree. The Souls games are far superior to the witcher tbh.
