Forza1 was better than GT4.
The Gran Turismo series has stagnated because it has practically been a big fish in a small pond.
Forza1/2 Dwarf GT4 when it comes to the stuff players really truly want. I bought my first Xbox thanks for Forza1.
Whether or not its better than GT5 full, is up to polyphony. The japanese are stubborn and Forza is definitley the well needed fire under Polyphony's proverbial ass.

Motorstorm2 is photoreal as far as Im concerned. Especially the bonnet view. 4d, as far as the terrain mapping? Not sure what you mean there. But yeah, Killzone2 is is the console graphics king. No disputing that..

There are only a few game engins that do this realtime:
1. Crysis
2. Killzone.
Lets stop pretending Motion blur is some easy feat for a game engine to do. Its not. Kids.
THe 360 hasn't shown it can handle it with any game engine. Especially the lol Unreal engine.
THe blur that this uses is probably like all generic game engine blur, its just a post process.
You isolate the character model, and 'blur' the world around it ...
Forza can't even evenly divide throttle/brake/traction
Its realistic to people that don't know what a tire does.
GTR2 Rfactor Live For Speed and Gran Turismo all don't allow you to go WOT and still have traction in turns, nor do they allow you to slam on the brakes while still turning as if you still have traction. Unlike Forza1 and Forza2.
You can get beyond unrealistic times doing hotlaps in forza2 because of this.

You know if Gears2 was a PS3 game, Kotaku would have had non stop articles like SOCOM about how broken the game was. The only difference is that SOCOM is online only, and is expected to be patched constantly.
Every website held Gears2 as some amazing masterpiece. Both online and Off.

Do you guys even know who is developing it? This is the one game that will compete with Gran Turismo as far as physics go. But too bad no one will buy it since everyone has invested into thinking forza's magical physics are the bar.

Its all pretty sketchy, and its unfortunate MS doesn't use sold #'s. If they did, people would see how narrow the gap obviously is. Shipping isn't the same thing as selling, and its a fools guess to say that 20-25million is sold, and thats not even factoring in RROD'd units which will clearly drag that # down.
The #'s are up in the air, but its all anyone has to go with unfortunately due to MS being secret on it.
But since the entire industry assumes its 20-25million...
