There is absolutely none of the SIMS-esque features in GTA4. Features that keep you coming back and working on to raise your levels...
GTA4 offers a big empty city with Bowling, and a Katt Williams show. There is no reason to do anything in the game outside of just personal satisfaction, nothing you do improves your gameplaying abilities like Strength did in SA.

I'll be the first one to take streaming downloads, when the quality is on par with upscaled DVD's at least.. and I can dl 20-40gb in about.. 5 minutes or stream it be able to rewind/fastforward.

There are two types of "gamers" here folks, People that buy the wii. Which is in the same exact regard as people that buy say, and Iphone. Or the first karaoke machines. The PS3 had the best 2008 lineup and it covered all games. Sports to Adventure to LBP. The PS3's exclusives all scored higher as well.

I think MGS4 raised the bar for Third Person shooters possibly forever. Especially with the addition of the stealth cammo.

Regardless of where the $ goes, its where the consumer can go to get the game. Sony makes oodles off Electronics, the PS2 and the PSP but that doesn't seem to be factored into the PS3's universe when we are talking about gaming.
