swapping discs is dated, and its due to lack of space. Swapping discs doesn't speed up load times or provide any gaming benefits, unlike installs.
HDD install is an option the benefits games, like PC games and upcoming Full PS3 HDD install titles like Burnout and Football Manager.
Swapping a disc is the indicator that its time to upgrade to another media.
