there is so much fail in just the beginning of the artical that I just knew reading the responses would be twice as good. You people love to live in your own world and then you completely disrespect teh rules of the Zone you're in. I don't know if trash is particularly a word I would call most of you who throw lies and slander at someone and gang up on anyone who disagree's with you... Needless to say most of you couldn't write a text adventure game in Basic much less a game of the calibure...
What's with these new Facts(aka ignorant lies)?
If you don't think there is a difference then you haven't played both... anyone who can't see it is an idiot or probably needs to see the eye doctor and possibly both
Is it me or does this seem similar to what threads looked like for the Wiimote? Want to know something? None of you matter.. you complaining wont affect sales of either of these two products. The company who can most closely target what consumers outside of the hardcore will completely turn this "race" into a joke. The ball is clearly in Microsoft's court regardless of how you feel about Natal it has the highest chance of attracting casuals and Wii owners.
at least they talk on Xbox Live
yeah, but you act like Microsoft is just going to stop adding value to the gold subscription
someone is a lier... I wonder who?
This guy can have all the opinions he wants, but he can't sit here and give the PSN and Xbox Live a tie when it comes to content. It's not even close. Xbox Live is dancing in the cloud and PSN is still digging it's way to the surface. EA throws PSN a couple of bones and now they are equal on content? Please.
effen awesome... this makes me even more excited
I think the head tracking you're talking about and the head tracking that he's talking about are two different things... EyeToy can track your head in two dimensions... you could look left right or up and down and such.. what he's talking about is that with the 3D depth sensor Natal can actually create the allusion that your game is sticking out of the TV. The man in the video that I attached is working for Microsoft now and this same thing can be used with Natal.
@kneon hmm... leaning... or how about simple foot movements... and that's not even taking into consideration that it could use Natal + Controller setup
this is probably the best reaction you can get out of a child... most of you are not parents and so you can't understand how happy this probably made his mom and dad... to show that kind of happiness justifies the presents cost even for those who had to struggle to get the money to buy it... and I don't think I was much diffrent when I got my NES in 87... though maybe I didn't hump my nes... well not where people could see -_o
you understand that it's highly unlikely to happen with the 65nm chipset right?
you'd only be happy for a coupld of days then you'd be crying after that...
Man of the Year brings up a good point regardless of your preferance... the size of the medium doesn't equal game play... I don't think any modern game last me longer than Wizardry 7 did... I put probably over a thousand hours into one party on that game. and that was on a 3.5 inch floppy
haha... pretty funny for an idiot :p
@butterfinger You forget that Sony was suppose to launch in the Spring of 2006 so the "rush" was earlier than needed, but they were working off info they assumed was right... Sony dropped the ball and this is the cost of that. The diffrence between what Natal will mean to the casuals and what the PSwand will mean are like night and day. It's not even compairable. If Microsoft has the cost at the right level with the right software it could feasibly post Wii like numbers that Chri...
Splinter Cell has always had a Xbox brand attachment much like Metal Gear Solid has been a PS brand... It wouldn't take much on Microsoft's part to get the game exclusive on the platform. Microsoft has had this deal wrapped up since 2006... so by the time this game releases they'll have almost complete mind share for the 360.
yes because there is no outcry when stupid Madden crap hit... or the infamous "Horse Armor" things that where worked out on the Xbox 360 that PS3 owners take for granted.
MAG is hardly special... Sony has already done this on a larger level with PlanetSide
