France...lol... The 360 sold more than that in one day here in the US. I don't think MS cares for france as much as they do for the larger more important markets.
If they don't want it to sell enough then yes.
Exclusives do matter. That's one of the reasons why the xbox continues to sell.

Even with that RROD fiasco MS still leads the market. That says a lot about their brand strength. They learned from that...just like sony learned from their PSN security fiasco.
Xbox is really gaining in popularity. Think its safe to say that they will remain on top for the rest of this gen

I wish people would stop comparing two different technologies. MS is delivering with kinect. Especially in the integration department. I don't think sony will match this. At least not this gen.
Kinect is amazing technology. Tell me what other technology for a console uses biometrics the way it does? If kinect is sub-par then ps move is definitely rock-bottom.
It doesn't have a massive amount of software just yet but ps3 and 360 didn't either at 1 year in the market.
Only in quantity. 360 exclusives have been just as great.
Kinect will be awesome for the PC and TV. Sony made a big mistake passing on this technology.

Well said....Ms knows one of the keys to the 360 is xbox live. They keep improving on it every year which is ok by me.
It just keeps evolving and that's the reason that it will always be the better service.
You can also play them without move. Lets face it, both lack games but move doesn't hardly have anything. They need more original titles. At least kinect has the games. They may not be the greatest but at least they are supporting it.
MS doesn't really need to buy up studios. The third party games sell better than the competition. So do exclusives. Plus xbox live is still unmatched and offers more content than the other. On the other hand, Sony does need stronger 1st party support because ms is leading in third party development and sales. This holiday, here in the U.S., they will beat the competition. Pretty good for the rookie in this console business.
Not a big deal. If im not mistaken, BF3 sold more on the 360 though. EA shouldn't forget that.
