The one of the big reasons for Epic's continual success and are among the most popular developers is they have had a huge fanbase for more than 10 years.
GG is fairly new to the gaming industry, but has proven themselves to be a VERY badass developer.
Killzone 2 is technically and graphically the best FPS in the history of console gaming, and I think it may take a year to a few more years before we see Killzone 2's graphical AND technical in another game, besides Killzone 3...

Sony has a first party for a reason, they keep these developers under their wings because they know that they pump out AAA games.
Microsoft doesn't have any first party because they only buy the rights for the game, and then drop the developer after that.
Sony has had developers for over 10 years.
Microsoft doesn't even keep a single one for longer than about 2.

Last I checked, xb360's were still breaking like, well xb360's. haha, there's really nothing else to compare it to.
They are also scratching their own discs and wasting your money. I wonder if Microsoft has a warranty on that.
