First ... patched in weather and now maybe no replays??? WTF Evolution? Yeah the game looks sick but dont gimp it on features if thats what it takes to make it look like it does. I want to play and enjoy the game for what it is worth not just look at the cars and scenery and say 'wow'.
Looks great on both - 60fps being the key. PS4 of course able to outdo the XB1 in terms of rez due to 60fps being the central point. Great job by the devs either way for getting everything they could from both systems. XB1 912p is pretty good considering how good this game looks. I will be getting this day one on my PS4.
DC owns this game and I would say FH2 is better as well.
DC looks photo real. Period. Amazing what they can do with PS4 hardware. FH2 is open world with a TON of content and looks amazing. The edge for Forza is the content and being able to fully mod a car inside and out while driving ANYWHERE. DC definitely has an edge in graphics cuz of how real it looks but it has nowhere near the content FH2 has and that is why the graphics are at the level they are. Cant really honestly compare these 2 games - compare DC to Project Cars PC for a real compariso...
They are shooting for 1080p on both - it will propably be more in the area of 900p on XB1 when it releases. I highly doubt it will be 720p - if it is then that is a dev issue as there are many other games pushing more with higher rez counts.
Lets wait and see a year from now when Halo 5 and the next Gears are starting to show what they look like. In time the XB1 will really start to showcase what it can do and the PS4 as crazy as some of its games look now will do even more as well.
Hes 100% right. What good is a high rez count if the frames are dropping. I would rather have a game at 900p and a locked 60 than 1080 and an inconsistent one. In a perfect world 1080/60 is what every game should be but we dont live in a perfect world and that is just the way it is. Even the PS4 has a few games at 900p and a host of them at 30fps including the long delayed Driveclub which looks amazing graphically in 1080p. They still wound up going with 30fps cuz they knew they couldnt push ...
Its a big step in the right direction but not enough to 'win the war'. No one game alone will do that. It will come down to nailing deals like this consistently over time as well as creating fresh new ips and other games solid. The war is won over time. It always has been like this.
There has been plenty of reasons to pick one up for a while now unless your a die hard PS4 or Wii person and just hate MS. The truth is, XB1 has alot of great games coming and with Phil at the helm it isnt going to let up anytime soon. Great days ahead for XB1 and anybody who decides to pick one up.
The dev is staying true to their roots as they are a Euro team. It would be nice to see some American muscle cars as well as Asian tuner cars. Lets hope they add them later but that will mean Forza style money milking unfortunately. I guess keep it cheap and do it on a car by car deal.

Nice looking graphics for an 'underpowered' console.... honestly, XB1 has some amazing looking games and QB easily goes up against any of Sony's games wether anyone wants to admit it or not. Halo 5 will be unreal and Horizon 2 looks better every time they show it. This is going to start getting real interesting this holiday season.
Just like sunset od - why these companies limit themselves to one machine is just stupid. PS4 has the potential to sell so many more copies due to their larger install base. Its like playing Russian Roulette with your company and franchise. Good luck CD - nice move for MS though.
