No reason this game shouldnt be 1080p. They got it there ...whatever. PS4 version is still a bit better. They are just trying to save face and make up some ground against this 1080p rez battle going on with Sony. At least MS is getting involved and helping devs code for it to get there.
The Bone can handle 1080p all day long - its just how well it can do it. The PS4 does it easier and more frequently. The XB1 is coming around and getting better each month. The new sdks will help and we will see what happens in the near future with dx12 and devs becoming better at coding the games for it. Its a joke to say it cant 'handle' 1080p cuz it can and has done so many times already.
Thats cuz there is no single player campaign - it has a good story and a kick ass campaign could have been done but the devs wanted to ship and sell the online only craze that we seem to have today. It is still fun as hell and I love it for the online but a real interesting campaign would have made it a better overall package.
This game looks unreal and will be what it will be. Not every game can be perfect in all areas. This looks like an old movie with a real creepy feel to it and I think the devs have done a solid job. Wait till its out to have a realistic opinion about it cuz its still a ways off. I am getting it day one.
Yes it does bro. I personally have the Ferris white SO Bundle preordered already. MS is doing a great job with Phil at the helm and I think the launch in the other territiories that is coming soon will help gain some ground as well as the great games coming out this year. Great time to be an XB1 owner.
The XB1 is a better all around machine but the PS4 is a better games machine IMHO. The XB1 caters to certain types as does the PS4. Lets wait and see what happens after they release in these additional countries. By the end of the year we should see what type of effect it had for them.

Aww shit.... now the Bone aint the only console that is gonna have Krazy cloud powah anymore... Sony going for the knockout while the Bone is trying to slowly recover from the beating its been taking since launch.... this is gonna be very interesting indeed. Like anything else, it all depends. Certain games need 60fps to really feel like they should and others want to wow you with eye popping 1080p if it can be achieved. MGS Ground Zeroes on XB! runs at 720p rez and 60fps. It is really sharp and smoothe. I have that particular game on both PS4 and XB1 cuz I just love Metal Gear and wanted it for both. The PS4 version pops at 1080p and 60fps. They both look real clean and play real well but at the end of the day the PS4 version at full 1080p/60fps...
This game will make people who dont have an XB1 wish they at least had the game on their preferred system of choice or maybe even go out and buy an XB1 for it. It looks amazing and is a breath of fresh air with all the same old type shooters we have - which are all good in their own ways. I think this game is really going to be alot of fun and do really well. Good luck Insomniac and MS. Now make the sequel multiplat so PS4 owners can enjoy it as well.
Awesome news. Love this game on my PS4 and will be playing it on my XB1 as well. Hope they support this game and keep it around for a long time.
This game looks insane and will be a ton of fun. Anyone hating on this title needs to get a life or better yet go and buy an XB1 so you can enjoy the game. 10% was a nice bump and these guys know what they are doing. They will use the extra power for whatever areas of their game deem it necessary. Cant wait till October 28th.
Either way they are a big step up from what we had. I find the PS4 to be way more powerful and XB1 alot stronger than the 360 also. At the end of the day they can only do so much and keep the pricing reasonable.
why are they worried???? They are killing MS saleswise and will propably have a killer holiday in sales adding to their ridiculous lead. I get that as a whole Sony is having financial issues but the PS4 is there bread and butter right now and I think that is a big plus for them.
