I watched about 3 hours worth of stream last night while drinking Irish car-bombs, so I don't need to see this vid. The guy who ran the stream just screwed around anyway, didn't do any missions so nothing was spoiled for me.
I honestly think that both games look great. Of course any fool can see that UC2 has the edge. Still it's a good time to be a gamer with all of these amazing visuals.
Speaking of comparisons, I'm surprised that we haevn't seen one yet, regarding Red Dead.
Indeed. I've got a 300gb in my own PS3. No sweat.
Mmmmmm....
It's just a site looking for hits. Move along.
I mean, really? You're going to bet on a hypothetical scenario that in 'real life' someone wouldn't talk trash to you because you're so big and bad, right? That's something an adolescent teen would say. It's very much like two children fighting over toys.
This makes you look foolish, not tough by any stretch of the imagination.
I just thought I'd point this out to you.
Anyways, sucks for that kid. I've ( I meant to ...
It's good to see another person think that Lionhead is very talented. I've always been a big fan of their studio. Peter is an amazing speaker. He's got some real skill there, and his dreams that he speaks of are amazing as well.
I wonder what Lionhead would do if they were under Sony and had the PS3 to code. I know that their programmers are very bright people.
However, I eagerly await Fable III. It sounds and looks like a lot of fun. I hope that Peter's vision...
The two games that I've played in that list are MGS and Demon's Souls. MGS wasn't hard. It was a game of patience. Demon's Souls is hard but not overly hard or frustrating, more like rewarding.
EDIT: This is aimed at cmrbe
But you've got to consider how far the tech has come concerning CPU'S and GPU's. The PS3 has been out for 4 years now. MS would make something that would be more powerful than the PS3, would it be really expensive, yes it would. Would this put the ball in Sony's court, depends. Most probably it would and it would keep that ball in their court for a while too.
Sony has got a great strategy working for them.
MS is scr...
It's funny how everyone disagrees with your opinions, however I'm quite sure that if you'd have switched up the words a little along the lines of: "I always buy PS3 games for both multiplats and exclusives, and just buy some of the 360 exclusives" You would've gotten 4 agrees with 1 disagree. Funny how that works on this site...
Agreed with both of you. I've always loved the art work that the Fable team produces.
Exactly, Gameplay.
For me it comes down to this. Which system do I have more friends on. LIVE, that's where. I have two friends on PSN and 37 or so on LIVE. A lot of my LIVE friends are 'actual' friends. I know that 5 of them are going to pick this up day 1. Some that are the fence (until I bring it over to their house that is) and a few that don't care for it.
I too prefer the 360 pad over the PS3's. This is just personal preference, it just fits more nat...
Wrong. There is in fact, a LE in the U.S. I know of for sure. As I have it pre-ordered at GameStop, which was a free upgrade.
That box-art looks awesome! I really do like it, I hope that Lionhead and MS keep that one.
As far as Fable III going to PC, good news. I'll have to pick up both the 360 and PC copies of this game. I know it'll be a timed exclusive to the xbox. And I know I can't wait to get my hands on this.
Plus my PC won't be handle Fable III. (yet)
Should this be construed as a bad thing, Fishy? I personally am looking forward to those open vistas. The never ending sky and mountains. I'm looking forward to 'feeling' as though I am alone in the wilderness. As opposed to bumping into someone every couple of seconds or so.
Without a doubt one of the most asinine comments I've read on N4G yet. People like you are the reason why I question the right of man to exist.
Don't forget the other Eastwood westerns too. I've already watched "The Outlaw Josey Wales", "Pale Rider", and "Hang 'em High".
3:10 to Yuma was decent, the original was a lot better imo.
Well, I know that I've been following Red Dead since for about a solid year now. That was when I found out about it. I was just as excited for it then as I am now.
You forgot Fable III, which is another XB360 exclusive. Yes, I know you folks don't think much of that series. But I think it's brillant!
What you've really pointed out here, though. Is that E3 is going to killer for gamers this year.
RAM has got more to do with it than the format that is used. Sure DVD 9 is limiting things. But RAM is playing a large role here, folks.
And so what if Red Dead isn't fully populated and doesn't have tons of buildings and people everywhere. This is the theme of the old west (Yes, I know it's set in 1908, hence the dying of the old west.) I'm looking forward to that vast open space with which to ride my horse on. I can ride into a small town and 'feel'...
