Remastered would be a good gap closer until the end of the year which would be reasonable to assume that U4 is a Q4 release if not 2016
the real reason to why SFV will have problems launching on xbox platforms is the cross platform play, it is the same reason FFXIV isnt on the xbox.
Their policy doesnt allow it, and they are stubborn to make exceptions. They want all players to play on their servers.
Unless they decide to bend their own rules or unless capcom gets rid of the cross platform gaming portion which i doubt they will, I have a hard time seeing this coming on to the microsoft platfo...
Abriael is actually on point with the 60 fps discussion, sim racers dont really need the 60 FPS, its all about knowledge of the car youre driving and knowledge of the track your racing on. Its not a bunch of variables that change on the fly like in say, a shooter or fighting games where frame data is vital.
not saying it won't look nice, and I do enjoy a smooth racer, but it isnt a deal breaker.
Theres no class related to dark knight, its on its own, as for the cross class abilities thats unknown atm. and flying chocobos are out in the open, theres floating islands in certain areas in the new expansion, thats what they are for, there was a screenshot with it flying.
also if you are used to XI you would know Dark Knight was about debuffs and draining abilities, strong but useful with magic. DK in XIV is a tank now as opposed to DPS like in XI, but its still viable tha...
Would just like to point out that since the launch of the ps3 Japanese PSN users had the option to use a "Gamer NAme" that was different from their account name, basically any game would let you see their gamer name instead.
I know this because I used this for a while back in the day. It was a good way to have icons from japanese text into your name like stars ☆ ★

Id say, considering that this game is more multiplayer orientated, that a 10 hour campaign is reasonable.

you should try the pvp its great, they are fixing the queueing issues right now for tonights maintenance.
Alot of people were turned off by the 4v4 arena pvp introduced near launch but this is a whole other ball park, its a whole lota fun.
I dont know what it is but the way FFXIV abilities work in pvp makes it feel so great.

wait, what? What does anything in this discussion have to do with sacrificing character development. Final Fantasy games will do what they have done for years. They will look nice, tell a nice story and be fun for most.
This is their biggest single player endeavor to date you cant just assume they are sacrificing anything.
its not uncommon for game developers to use other engines to enhance visuals. Look at physx in some games for example its the same idea.
Is this something that needs to be told? it is middle ware that is embedded into their luminous engine, theres no downside to it. Their engine is still incredible tech capable of large scale rendering unlike anything we have currently.
the middleware is not the engine, people need to understand this. It is post processing effects added on top. if you checked their promo video you would understand it better perhaps. The agnis prophecy demo which was shown a while back was also using this middle ware, but it is infact running on the proprietary engine that square developped and is using for FFXV (and a modified version for XIV)

I've had experience with PSNow and its worthwhile to me, the 7 day option is more than enough to finish most games in the ps3 library

Might I state that you're factually incorrect as there is no "factual" evidence that the PS4 runs at a lower clock rate, that's just speculation. Infact there was an article posted here with the consoles running on some benchmarks that have people thinking it clocks higher.
