Also the game will have a shelf life, once EA shuts those servers down the game will be useless.
@tdawg6
I don't mind some games that are always online. PC does it and that's fine, however I don't want to see it on my consoles. Why? Those cool things that can be done with always online, will become less about that and more about DRM. Let's look at DLC... In the beginning when dlc started coming about, developers talked about the potential that dlc could bring, more levels... More characters... More whatever... And for the most part that has happened, however...
@dancer
Ok, can you enlighten me about the benefits of NFS being always online? How long will EA keep those servers running before your copy of the game becomes a coaster. If you can tell me some worth to always online, then I will back you. But at the end of the day we're dealing with EA...
@majin, yewles... Say no more, I own the mess that is USF4... Weird color saturation, moves that don't work, and can't change to arranged music.
Yes, but what happens when you internet goes down, your stuck with a game you can't play. Not to mention there's still a lot of people who don't have an Internet service or a crappy one at best. Also you truly don't own the game if it requires an internet connection. Nor could you trade it in.
Oh EA! In your greedy quest to have the next big franchise... You always shoot yourself in the foot. Because Always online worked so well with Microsoft, you continue to want to give it a shot... And how many more Need for speeds before you realize this franchise is mediocre at best. Hey, I know... How about a new burnout... What's that, most of those developers for that franchise have left... Thanks EA...
What's other oceans story?
That's sad to hear... It's hard to play that way, throws me off every other game if I try and learn no invert.
Sorry, got the pricing wrong... The Darth Vader set will be $199.99, it's the Storm Trooper with horse armor, that will cost $149.99. And buying used so that EA doesn't receive a red cent... Priceless...
This game is not complete... Why? This is EA of course. Once the film got its December release date, Ea decided in a micro minute the were going to release there game around the same time. Just think about it... Only 4 planets with a number of maps per planet, no single player campaign or space battles... How do you have no space battles in a Star Wars game? Now to be fair, not a whole lot of details have been released about this game, so anything can change. But I think they just polished u...
Yes... Loving this game, can't wait for a sequel. In fact why am I having more fun with this game then most AAA games I bought this year???
Tried that, ps4 did not recognize the old hardrive.
Let me tell you a sad story, and let's this be a lesson to ALL... Got my Bloodbourn character to level 48 last night. Decided to give the game a break and open my copy of Hardline... "Well what's this, not enough memory" let me upgrade my ps4 with this 1tb hdd that's been sitting around for a month... To make a long story short, I didn bother to save my saves to a flash drive. Figured I would just download them from the cloud...😱...😭. .. No saved data fro...
I for one just do not trust EA, If i'm not mistaken, didn't they say you get a 10% discount on DIGITAL games... Digital games.. EAs quite stab at getting rid of the used game market.
Uncharted... There's no need to type anything more.
I suspect this is EAs little jab at Sony for not going along with the DRM plans. Right around the time of Microsofts Xbox one reveal, EA decides to get rid of there online pass... Then Sony comes along and throws a monkey wrench in that plan...
Needless to say I'm growing tired of EA, and I don't know why I preordered BF4 over Watchdogs, but I need to change that.
Microsoft also said PS3 will NEVER get the original Mass Effect... Well that didn't turn out as planned for them.
A HD collection of Syphon Filter with an announcement of a new game would be great. How about a Wipeout HD as well.
Does a shark deserve credit for biting you and letting you go...
There's still blood in the water.
Like you, I feel like this is battle front with SW skin... Is that a bad thing... Maybe not. But something feels off... The lack of environments scares me, the hoth stage looks good, but I got a feeling I'm going to get bored quickly with only 4 planets, and what's the point of the scopes if you can't use them, something tells my this game is being rushed for the New Star Wars movie... Sorry, I'm fussing to much...
