THis isnt the first time the PS3 has a sales spike past the competition, and guess what happened every other time? You had every idiot out there claiming this is the end for MS, only to sit and watch the PS3s start selling less and less and eventually begin getting outsold again.
Its ok though, at this rate, Sony wont be able to make a PS4 because they are gonna end up bankrupting themselves trying...
There are gonna be A LOT of upset people when this game finally comes out. Of coarse, who knows, by the time this game actually comes out these graphics might actually be possible in game.
As a side note, Ive seen pre-rendered Forza 3 shots that easily look just as good. This is nothing special.

GT 5 is all fluff. 1000 cars and 900 of them that no one cares about? Damage only on select cars? Nascar? GT 5 is starting to sound like the PS3 at launch. They are just randomly adding stuff to make it sound better than the competition, and almost all of it sounds like its only half thought out and half done. Development money will begin to run out soon and they will be forced to release an unfinished product. More doesnt equal better. Forza will be the better game.

We have only had 3 Halo's, why exactly is everyone complaining that its being milked when there are MANY other franchises that are milked much heavier than Halo?

Yes I am talking about that, and that is exactly what the screens look like. Compare games like Bioshock on the 360 and PS3, its night and day. THe PS3 version has a blurriness all over it, where the 360 version does not. And that isnt the only game its evident in, either.
You fanboys can say what ever you want, but the current screens seem to suffer from a dull blurriness, the EXACT SAME dull blurriness that many PS3 games suffer from due to the Blur Filter developers have to use instead of standard AA on the PS3 to help with jaggies and framerate. Don't believe me? Look it up, it's easy to find info on it.
I think many of you need to take off the rose colored Sony glasses and think about a few things before you jump to conclusions and immediately...
MGS4 sucked balls. It is a last gen game with a next gen coat of paint. Sure, the game looks great and has a nice cinematic feel to it, but the gameplay sucked hard. Horrible controls and animations ripped straight out of the PS1 era. If any other game played like that, it would get reamed.
This franchise hasn't aged well, because it hasn't evolved to meet today's standards in gameplay. Maybe a new team is just what this franchise needs.

So all of you idiotic fanboys think that people are just gonna stop buying 360s all of the sudden because of the price drop huh? You understand that's pretty much what has to happen for the PS3 to outsell the 360 this generation, right? There will be a surge in sales for a few months, just in time to drop back off for Halo, and then MW2.
Im gonna tell ya this. Sony has about a year to figure this out, because if MS prices Natal right, the 360 will not only destroy the PS3 in sale...
What are all of you rabid fanboys gonna do when the excitement of the NEW PS3 Slim wears off, and it goes right back to normal again? People are buying 360's because they want to play the console that all of their friends play. They want to buy the console that has Halo. They want to buy the console that has Gears. It will sell between 1.5 and 2 million the first week easily. THe only game that will outsell it is MW2. Just because it isnt being hype to death doesnt mean it isnt going to sell. Halo 3 is still the most popular Xbox Live title, that means a lot.
Not to mention the fact that it has been sparking the re-sale of Halo 3 lately and will continue to do so. The only PS3 exclusive that even has a chance of keeping up with it sales wise is GT5.

An over priced Halo 3 expansion in one day outsold what Killzone 2 has done in 8 months, and MS is the one in trouble?
Face it people, as long as the 360 sells games the way it does, it will be just fine. Wait to see how lop sided the sales of MW2 is when that comes out.
Golf clap for Sony for reinvigorating PS3 sales, but as long as the PS3 gamers keep Sony down with poor game sales, this recent boost wont do much.
