There was one thing that I hadn't heard anywhere, which I won't mention here in case it is true, but based on this article, I wouldn't even consider it a solid source.
You could have read without ruining pretty much anything Hellsvacancy.
This is pretty much half the article... does this ruin anything for you?
"Players traverse dungeon-like settings and battle a variety of fantastical enemies (e.g., ghouls, zombies, skeletons, giant rats) to gain souls. Players use knives, swords, and arrows to defeat enemies. Combat is highlighted by cries of pain and small splashes of blood. Some locations depict instances of blood a...
Love seeing/hearing more about this game. Don't think I can get much more hyped for a game at this point!
Indeed. My main at the least haha
I would be surprised if the Guardian Shield doesn't have an effect. It certainly looks "magical".
Perhaps all the ones from the contest will have extra effects. Just me hypothesizing mind you, but that would be neat.
you mean on Facebook or something?... kidding :)
Yes, I enjoyed both of them. Looking forward to seeing the others, and super looking forward to actually playing the game.
My pre-order won't get here until somewhere between the 18th and 28th it says... I may end up buying the normal edition before my collectors edition arrives. haha
I have a thing for cloth maps as well, ever since Ultima IV.
Dark Souls soundtrack. Full.

This game looks like it could be a great one. This walk through was the first I had seen of the game... It is now on my radar.

funny. Your comment wasn't there when I wrote mine... but I bet, with all this talk of the differences between the two versions framerates etc(PS4 & XONE), that we will both enjoy this game thoroughly.
I had heard only great things about the "last gen" versions as well.
Looking forward to this. I didn't play the PS3 or PC versions, so it will be a welcome addition to my PS4 library, and my gaming library as a whole.
Hard to believe it's almost here already. Time sure does fly.
I doubt I will see my money back, but I feel pretty much the same.
The game is beautiful, but man... I can't run my team as a GM unless I play as a player first, and for a while...or pay $.
I'm calling that BS, bull shat.
Let alone that it has to be online always. This is the main thing about the "future of gaming" that I really dislike.
It used to be, if you bought a game, that game would last a lifetime. It could s...
I just did the double order this morning. Dark Souls 1 & 2 guides. Should get my Dark Souls 1 guide in a couple weeks.
I have pre-ordered the collectors edition Dark Souls 2 game already. Lots of Dark Souls in my near and somewhat distant future!
Wanted to have the first mainly as a collectors item, as the second shall be as well. EpicNameBro is working on the 2nd one which is really cool.
No problem Grave. I get the sense you are looking forward to this game just as much...if not more then me even.
The magic system is really cool now hey?...how there are 4 variations on all/some spells...also, aiming is now possible.
The game looks to have taken the best from Demon's and Dark 1 and combined the two, while improving as well.
The graphics look nicer to me, not "better" really... just nicer.
From everything I have seen, Dark Souls 1 & 2 have similar graphic levels... it is the style.
To me, it looks great and I cannot wait, but I will.
If anything, it just looks like there is more color added to this game, aside from the lighting, when it comes to graphics.
the way characters react to being hit is the only thing that looks to have been "downgraded" to me... as if there are not so many animations for this. I could be wrong of course.
In...
Just means that PERHAPS a larger audience will see boobs and blood.
Gimme gimme gimme :)
That's cool...
If you love Dark Souls, check these out...

and of course, the new trailer that just came out.

It will probably be mine as well. As I have said, if at the end of 2014, I have logged more hours in any game than Dark Souls 2... I would be surprised.
That would be a pretty good indication of which game I enjoy the most I think.
I could be surprised though. There are some fine titles coming this year... it's just that, if they grab my gaming hours, will they have time to catch up with Dark.
Dark Souls, I am only 5 weeks in, is the only...
No doubt made much easier for me, in that I am still on my first play through of Dark Souls.
I haven't faced any of the DLC bosses yet... but aside from those, have defeated all but the 4 lord bosses, and the Grande Finale.
