Question...if we need digital foundry to analyze games with dedicated software to pick up subtle differences that people don't actually notice, how much more superior can one version really be?
Because some people like story driven RPGs with with an outer space settings. It checked all the right boxes for a lot of people. It may not be for everyone but it was one of my favorite franchises from last Gen.

I just did the same thing today. It is basically a free trial of the service for a year, plus gave me access to 3 games I haven't played yet. So for me it is a good value. I guess people forget that value is subjective.
Not at all, but I did buy one for a the other interesting games like SO, Quantum Break, Forza, Gears and plus the kids like dance central and Kinect stuff. I still am scratching my head over this move they made, more disastrous PR that does more harm than good. It really seams to overshadow any of the good stuff they showed at Gamescom.
Because it has nothing to do with Uncharted 4 and everything to do with a multiplat game that has been on the playstation platform for ages being taken away from a large fan base.

I think out all the available platforms, Sony is best suited to innovate and bring the genre back to life, but "Alone in the Dark" on 3DO was the birth of survival horror on consoles. Man that game scared the crap out of me when I was little.
You actually save more than that. You save $10 on the game, get a $10 psn card, and a 30 day trial to ps+. There might be more in there but that's all I can remember. This was the bundle I was waiting for to get a PS4 and the fact that you get it in glacier white is just icing on the cake.

Being an obnoxious fanboy is not exclusive to any platform. There are plenty on both sides of the fence, just enjoy the games you have on the system you have and let the fanatics fight their war.

I wanted to disagree with you for CoD, but my love of tenchu wouldn't let me do it. The only ninja game higher on my list would have to be Legend of Kage.
Agree 100%. I play games because for the unrealistic, fantasy element. That's why they don't make games called "Pay Your Taxes" or "Eat Your Vegetables".
This game looks like a lot of things...boring and stupid are not one of those though, but thanks for your insight. I'm sure you've swayed many people with your argument.
OT: This game has peaked my interest since the initial CGI reveal at E3 in 2013. It just keeps getting better and better looking every time I hear about it. Looking forward to the fall this year. Too many games, too little time.

OT: What a waste of money. Spend $500 on a XB1, trade it in for $250 and then buy a PS4 for $400. Why not save the extra $250 you'd need and have both. There will be great games on both machines regardless of personal preference.
I think that's the point. All of the current windows products being put out right now are intended to have the same look and feel. Windows 8 is meant to be a unified OS across all devices. It may need some refinement, but I for one have been enjoying the updated OS on my Win8 devices.
I agree with you that this game isn't going to steal fans of halo and Xbox away, but it did convince me to finally pull the trigger on a ps4 for the white bundle. Now I just need to figure out which system I will actually play the game on. I know a lot more people on live than psn.
I'd have to disagree. Though the UI was designed with Kinect in mind, I really like the tile based UI. It definitely has a learning curve if using a controller, but I have had no issues using it when the rest of the house is asleep and I don't want to be talking to my Xbox. Considering I use win8 on my PC, I've already had the opportunity to get past the initial curve.
Don't let N4G fool you. The ones that frequent this site are a tiny fraction of the gaming populous, very dedicated and very vocal. I went to gamestop last night to pick up the ps4 destiny bundle and the line literally wrapped around the entire strip mall. I think it will get off the ground just fine, my only concern is what kind of staying power will it have.
