I didn't read any of the leaks or rumors, and I wish I had, would have saved 2 hours of the worst E3 I have ever seen.
I think "wii" was before both of those two and is a lot worse

Not at all, only for people who only care about graphics.
I would still love to see this game in 3D a lot more than I would like to see it with some upscaled textures, widescreen and a resolution increase.
Nintendo have done amazingly to get this game to run at 60fps (twice as many frames per second as the ps2 version) on the 3DS. And what it lacks for in graphical capabilities it makes up for with 3D-ness.

You dont seem to understand.
The PS2 ran MGS 3 at 30FPS, the 3DS runs it at 60FPS. You get 30FPS per eye, so it isnt "the same frame rate".
Do you think it is easy to double the frame rate of a game, it requires a lot of power which is why a lot of games struggle to hit that 60fps, especially when there is a lot going on at once.
When I said "its keeping up", I meant it's doing twice the framerate and still keeping up ...

The 3DS is capable of doing that kind of 3D too, but Im guessing you would have to turn 3D off on the slider as that sort of motion causes you to lose focus
