It's only partially working for me (I am in the BETA) it lets me sign in but no cloud storage is available and all the live stuff on the dash is a blank, netflix etc is still working but slow to sign in.
Fair enough but in the real world things aren't quite as black and white, For instance I bought Borderlands 2 on release, didn't get into it and quickly sold it on ebay(think I was spending all my time with HALO4) anyway after I got bored of Halo4 (too quickly) I decided to give Borderlands 2 another chance and got it 2nd from blockbuster online, Now it's my favourite game of the last 2 years...
What's I am saying is as a developer you may make the best game e...
"I said "to me" because i've already got enough education and there's very little i can be taught that i don't already know, of course i mean stuff i actually care about."
...I rest my case.
Proof you may need further education...
Whatever, SDCC IS FOR THE HARDCORE CROWD PERIOD.
Family games are cool, I have 2 young sons and a daughter, But guess what, they have no idea what E3/SDCC or gamescom is.
It's this very time they should be showing the hardcore what's ahead, when they start attacking mainstream media with their massive advertising campaigns is the time to wow the family/casual market...
So yeh nice theory.
I will probably get it if I come across a cheap 2nd hand copy to really see for myself, but first thing's first, knack is not near the top of my list.
Out of al the awesome launch games why knack? It looks so lame...
It DOES have dynamic weather.
@Lovable FarCry3 was good however Crytek sold Farcry after the first game and they moved onto Crysis, as I say - Farcry 3 good, FarCry 1(PC) magic!
ARE YOU REAL.
You ever play FarCry? one of the best games EVER made, I can't even begin to say how many games have borrowed/ripped stuff off from that first game, it was near perfect.
It's only the executions that have a "scripted" part in proceedings, but even then Crytek have said it's a skill based procedure with choice...
Indeed, although I imagine if it does come to consoles it won't be exclusive, I cant see Microsoft or Sony paying out huge $$$ dollars on what will be a MASSIVE risk at the end of the day. We core gamers may feel differently but at the end of the day it's the casual guys who are the majority and most of them will have little or no interest in a headset device that separates them from the rest of the household...
but but but, only GT is allowed weather duh!
DITTO
Don't take this the wrong way dude, but why have you got NETFLIX as your profile pic?
And I have never noticed the could/cloud thing until you pointed it out,weird...
That's why it's not going to be used for time sensitive computation, it can be used for lots of other things that are not dependent on tight timing's though.
I have to say I own LFD on PC and 360, and for some reason they seem MILES better on steam, I am not some PC elitist or anything but those games in particular just seem better on PC to me...
On an other note if there is ANY exclusivity with future Valve releases it will be on their own platform steambox if that ever materializes.
And another thing-screw Valve for leaving us on the HL2 e2 cliffhanger for so many years, I find it really insulting.
Hopefully you can just buy the full game for a deal price
Handy link, cheers dude.
