Well GTA4 bored me, I like a good story, which it may have had but it's delivery didn't resonate with me and I never bothered to finish it.
I think story wise GTA5 already looks miles ahead of 4.
Totally depends how you play it. I can see you are correct at the simplest level, but you could break ANY game down like that and make it sound crude. The true joy of Borderlands is playing online with friends doing missions, but farming awesome guns./shields etc is sooooo good when you finally get what you wanted.
Come the end of October/ start of November we will be literally choked to death with next gen ads... It's gonna be awesome!
One of the Microsoft guys(can't remember who?) said they were going to let Gears take a breather, a good call in my opinion, It shows they aren't trying to rely solely on their 3 big franchises all at the same time and this also gives fresh franchises a bit of room for growth....
OK - If a game is released on PS3 and Vita is it exclusive? yes.
If a game is released only through Microsoft platforms(xbox/windows) is it exclusive? yes.
I doubt it, because it's also on 360,not to mention PC, this cross generational sales tactic is a good way to bridge the exclusivity gap...
I would put money on this being the gears of war of next gen as far as Xbox goes.
Same kind of relationship as the Gears of war franchise I bet...
Besides the first Bioshock, Borderlands 2 is probably my favourite game of the generation... Epic weapons,epic enemies (I must have farmed Terramorphus at least 500 times just for fun) epic maps, epic humour,epic characters,just EPIC.
Cant wait for 3.

The thing about Borderlands that makes it so much fun is the fact it doesn't take itself seriously whatsoever, and if it does it has it's tongue firmly in cheek, Bungie will no doubt have missed that.
I played GT6 Academy, they should have called it GT5.1 !!! In all honesty I wish they had kept it under wraps for now and just released a proper sequel on the PS4.

@Godlovesgamers - Just to give you the heads up on a couple of points before you deplete the planet of foil hats - xbox one does NOT require an internet connection. Kinect can be paused.
