To your 4th point, I don't see how Microsoft would see this as a threat, since Bungie, and more importantly, Jim Ryan himself stated that Bungie will remain full independent and multi platform going forward.
The interesting thing in all of this is that Jim Ryan is fiercely adamant that Bungie will remain multi-platform.
Well, I think if you take a look at independent studios that are not tethered to a publishing house, Bungie is as big as it gets. I think that Bungie can develop several IP's at one time with a studio that large.

The pulse headphones are really good, and now readily available. But you may find something comparable that is a little cheaper.
I think their response would, and SHOULD be, is to acquire individual studios with the intent to make sure that every month their is a PS Exclusive game coming out. With all the studios they have, the amount of AAA games that come out every year is disappointing, to be honest. Grab a few more studios, build up that portfolio. Sony does not have the money to go out and just buy publishers, nor should they.
If it had to be someone, rather it be someone with a history of gaming. I'm just concerned that 2 or 3 major corporations will hold all the publishing on these games. Oligopolies. I'd hate to see that, but it seems that it will be an eventuality
Sony, to my knowledge, never took away well established multi platform franchises from a competitor. There is a huge difference between a company not sharing their exclusives and a company taking away multi platform franchises from another platform. Apples and oranges here
I'm surprised it took this long. I used it as an emulator a few times, but that was about it.
It's a very beautiful game with really good voice acting. It's just not that difficult, since you can keep trying to repeat the patterns until you get it right. There's really no penalty for messing up. At least in my experience, and I screwed up a lot

Ok, I thought it was just me or my Series X when it came to Forza. I guess it's odd to say that I'm glad it's not just me
I honestly thought that there was something wrong with my Series X at first. I literally waited 20 minutes for an auction buy to go through before I just quit the game and started over again.
If this is a one off situation, ok. It stinks, but fine.
However, if this is a trend, then this is an awfully slippery slope.
