No Resident Evil, huh?
Uhm, you may want to check that again.
As far as MGS goes, Konami themselves pulled all of the digital titles off of storefronts back in November
I'm just going to say this. What would happen if Sony, with less studios, didn't come out with a first party title for a whole calendar year? Can you imagine the outrage? So why is there no outrage for Microsoft? With the tens of billions they are pumping into Game pass, and with the amount of studios they have, they could end up with nothing for 2022 in terms of 1st party?
And then to top it all off, they practically put all of their eggs in the basket of a publi...
Horizon Forbidden West and Gran Turismo 7 came out this year. GOW Ragnarok has a legitimate chance to come out this year. This is not some industry wide trend. Say what you will about Sony, but they have had 1st party exclusives every single year the PS5 has been out.
If Forza doesn't come out this year, then Microsoft, with all of their studios, will have NOTHING from their first party out this year.
If this were Sony pulling this BS, the backlash...
In talks with Warner Bros for years?
What?
When Activision/Blizzard took what, a year at the most? Come on.
To me, the issue so much isn't that Starfield and Redfall aren't coming out this year. What is concerning is that a massive publisher like Microsoft could very well not come out with any 1st part titles in a whole calendar year. For a subscription service that prides itself and puts it out there that all of their 1st party titles will come out day and date. To potentially not have anything for a full 12 months? That's not good. That would be like Netflix not having any of the...
They don't need a big new reveal. What they need is for a couple of these first party games to come out in 2022. You can't have a subscription service that touts its biggest feature as day and date 1st party releases, and not have anything for almost a year. That's not a good look.
And of course one of my senators from Rhode Island just simply had to get involved...................... ..........
The sequel no one asked for.
The alternative would have been worse, though, wouldn't it? To hear long time and casual GT fans complain and do nothing? It's a start at least. Granted, they never should have done this and shame on them for overestimating the brand loyalty, but they are starting to try to make it right.
So you mean, I could have paused my digital version of Zelda, hop into my season with the 49ers on Tecmo Super Bowl, all the while my cartridge of Metal Gear was still in my NES?
Who knew.
Dusan Vlahovic, brother. Now, let's re-sign Dybala and get another midfielder for next season, please.
Welcome back, baby. We've missed you.
Dreamcast is far and away my favorite console of all time.
I swear, they are doing this just for the twitter reactions.
Or, you could do what most people do, and connect a USB cable to a power strip right near where you are playing
I'll be trading in my Series X version of this game for the PS5 version solely for this, especially if the graphics and performance are similar. I didn't realize that they would be adding this in the update. I bought the Series X version for the Smart Delivery
Check his other submissions regarding reviews for this game, please. They are mostly very positive reviews. Not that Orchard needs me or anyone else to defend him.
You might want to check the other reviews he submitted. Most of them are overwhelmingly positive for HFW
And Motorstorm
And the Getaway while they are at it
This is why these games simply have to be Next Gen only. When great developers such as Turn 10, Polyphony, or Playground will get to focus on next gen only, the results will be mind blowing.
This and the Last of Us Remake are exhibits A and B of this.
