Takes me seconds to empty mine and I can do a search for files far faster than I could with XP.
Just going to Best Buy settles it for me. You see maybe 1 or 2 titles for Macs but row after row of PC software. I am certainly not going to buy a computer to run an emulator to use PC software. I also don't want my child to learn on a Mac when the business world is dominated by PCs. I do love my Iphone over my previous Windows Mobile phone though :)
I doubt that the creators of Onlive didn't already think of these arguments against it before pushing forward with it. Major corporations are also not going to sign on without some kind of proof.
I really like the idea of eliminating piracy. Software developers should really be pushing for this.
Must be nice to have nothing else to worry about other than the killing of virtual dogs.
I just left Windows mobile 6 for the IPhone. What a difference, the IPhone is so much easier to use. One of the simple things I like is that the browser actually displays the web pages the way they would on a PC, no wrapping like Windows Mobile.
You can be a former member of a Christian denomination, but you cannot be a former Christian.
I don't see that limiting the number of turrets is a bad thing. The only problem I have with it is that my team can destroy them so they can set theirs up. Only the enemy should be allowed to destroy them. Overall I think it's a great game, I do wish they would fix the online bot issue though.
I spent more than $3k on a high end PC last year (I also develop financial software) and I still play consoles( I have all 3) more than PC games. Killzone 2, Gears 2 and MLB:The Show are awesome games.
However when it comes to RTS games, it's the PC all the way. I can't imagine playing Empire Total War on a console and I won't bother with Halo Wars.
Because it would take too long and I want to be able to trade it in when I tired of it.
2K crap was the last straw last year that caused me to buy a PS3. I won't ever buy that again. The Show is an awesome game.
I don't agree Steam is garbage. I do think you should be able to buy it and install it without Steam.
Games are like music cd's. Once you open it, you own it.
I bought a retail copy and had no problem at all authenticating with Steam. Worked perfectly.
That would be awesome news IF it happens!
I have both systems and I would never buy that 2K crap again. It's what pushed me over the edge to buy a PS3. The Show is way better.
No matter how high you build the fence, someone can create a ladder to climb it.
I don't play anything that is that old...
I was playing against bots online by myself because it was the only way to have a bots only game and just play BodyCount. It was also the only way to play multiple bots against yourself. I never even thought that it could boost ratings, the message at the end always said you had to play against humans to rank up, so I am not sure what the problem was.
This article seems like just an excuse to slam Vista. Vista gets a bad rap because people insist on buying bargain basement PC's and then can't understand why it's so slow.
