Joking aside, paying for a (short) freaking single player game that only comes out with dlc every once in a while is a recipe for disaster/sub-par sales.
That is the reason why games like Fallout 3, Oblivion, and specifically, Mass Effect 2 do so well, because they are not only significantly long but also have a shit load of frequent dlc.
