Actually them changing the combat to a lame hack-and-slash with health bars is exactly why I'm not moving forward with AC. Chaining combat was one of the best parts of the series.
The game simply isn't 3/10 is the thing. They're probably going for publicity and clicks. I can see people being mad at micros, but that doesn't drop gameplay, core mechanics, ect. down to a freaking 3. To focus on the article, though, yes pressuring to remove is pretty lame, but the 3/10 is also asinine. I don't even find that low of a score to be subjective; 2k is above and beyond developers like EA because they put care, thought, skill into their titles. Same with likes of ...
It's just too bad they spent most of their assets and development time on something that isn't even core hockey..When will EA focus on HOCKEY gameplay, 5v5, fix "true performance (lol) skating," et al.
Are you serious? They're atrocious. They ignore NHL's maladies year after year, and this year they REMOVE create-a-player from Madden 18. They're unbelievable. They should build, not remove shit.
It's the only reason the game is even being talked about. It's atrocious, looks and feels like it was made in 2004.
I found Witcher to have atrocious movement controls, and combat just hacking and slashing with no visible damage was pretty dumb to me. So Horizon gets the nod in general fluid movement controls and satisfying combat.
At least GTA allows player to choose b/w fully FP or third. Ubi forces shitty FP when game could have been a decent TP option for players.
I disagree. Mortal Kombat is a very good game, but I think Donkey Kong is the best game ever.
Shoot him right in the scrotum.
It's actually worse when the body has to "tilt" to turn while running. Looks really dumb and feels bad gameplay wise. Look at GTA. I'd rather have instant turning anyway, think Dragon Age, Tomb Raider, and well, most games. GTA's running and turning (they STILL refuse to ditch tap to sprint shit) is maybe the worst thing they do in an otherwise exceptional game.
Third-person, thank christ.
Yeah, it's getting in media and articles, but it's atrocious. Like it was made in 2005 or something.
She's fine. Thicken your skin, stop trying to get PC clicks. You know..a woman IS allowed to be afraid when there's a god-forsaken nightmare surrounding her, right? The only change they need to make with her is her terrible hair graphics.
100%. Blizzard's artists are one note, cartoony, Saturday morning crap, too used to doing WoW and Hearthstone. But it's not entirely their fault when, like you said, the people above are directing the game a certain way. It should have looked like Grim or PoE. And my god, how about the way they treated Cain..? Absolute slap in the face to fans and the character. Killed him in an in-game graphics cut-scene. Didn't even grant him the dignity of a cut-scene sendoff. Pathetic.
Exactly People are such pussies now I feel like. Stand up comedy, art, game development, they can do whatever the F they want, and if you can't stand cussing, sexualization, rape, divisive issues, then don't buy or watch. There's so much whining now like the world owes them something. You chose to buy/watch whatever it is that's offending. Those of us that appreciate storytelling and aren't triggered by every sudden, eye-opening topic shouldn't have to suffer changes t...
Cool, but hopefully comic influenced and not with movie actor avatar models and costumes. Also, since it's a game that means they can mention mutants and use all of Marvel property right?
Absolutely pathetic no one is giving the developers any grief for going to first-person, effectively selling out simply for the FP crowd. Should be ashamed they caved, and people should be ashamed for letting a developer completely change an entire franchise. This isn't RE, just like Bethesda's Fallout isn't Fallout.
I was excited for a new Nintendo release thinking it would be legitimate console and controller setup. I'll never touch this hybrid crap. Hope it succeeds I guess though for their sake.
I just don't like that it's news. It doesn't matter at all to me, but maybe I just want the future to be now and every time a character is named gay people just react "Ok..?" It should be normal. and Garethvk is right. Blizzard and Marvel are only doing it for media, desperately forcing it in to their products. They don't give a shit about "groundbreaking."
Yeah, I'm sure it's just a regular platformer with mediocre controls, but the reviewers are nostalgic and give like three extra review points because it's Mario.
