Yeah, next gen probably won't be released early 2019 right? Because the Polish government imposed that deadline. Could get delayed though I guess. "All of the applications mention a timeline from 01/2016 and 01/2017 till June 29, 2019. The development goals must be reached within this timeframe, implying that Cyberpunk 2077 should be released somewhere in the first half of 2019"
Not to mention, within days of PC release I'm sure a modder will add minimap, quest stuff for people who want that.
Sweet. Now the only thing I'm worried about is being forced to play it in first-person. That'd be heart-breaking.
@RacerX "Stars Wars, The Witcher 3 style.... I like it. Make it happen."
Pretty much what I've always wanted out of a SW game..maiming. Give us Witcher-like, monstrous open world with MAIMING, killing blow animations. We're wielding light sabers for crying out loud. I'm sure Visceral would have done something cool and "mature," but ..can forget about that. Thanks EA.
Give me a damn break. So tired of knee-jerk reactions to mediocre games. Probably just bait for the site but still. Did reviewer ENJOY it? Sure, probably, but a 10 is ENJOY ENJOY, gameplay, graphics, all of it, and I can already tell you the lame first-person clunky combat isn't worthy of including in a 10/10. What a joke, impetuous reaction to this game. Hope it's enjoyed but just so tired of the impulsive reviewer sites.
No idea why companies keep doing this. Don't give a shit about Siri, Alexa, Bixby, Cortana. Waste of time and manpower, Ubi.
The last shot..awesome if you can maim in combat like Witcher.
No it isn't..not even going to click the article. Nice try.
There was 0 chance for 2018 anyway. Didn't the Polish gov't impose 2019 deadline? So probably Fall '19. Sucks but at least it'll rule, if it's not first-person that is.
Put to rest? He said multiple days..Assume for one he's not staying up for 48 hours. The game should rule, but it's looking like twelve-eighteen hours or something. And ok what about more than two? If he's playing ~6 hours a day (which would be a lot and unlikely for someone in his position), that could still only be ~24 hours. Point is anyone who was hoping for a huge open-world Witcher type worth like 50 hours is going to be disappointed.
Please let one be an open world Forgotten Realms turn-based game akin to Divinity.
I'm already pretty sure game will be fine. My main concern is just being able to change out of that suit as soon as possible. Preferably the instant the intro cutscene ends and we get access to some kind of apartment.
Why? Seriously? Importance is irrelevant. No one wants to walk around as a regular civilian in a Spider-Man game; this isn't Gone Home.
Jesus christ Kojima. 3:51 was hysterical/awesome. Hope it's third-person.
I know it's subjective, but my god is this a knee-jerk reaction, unfounded, ridiculous score. Reusing assets from many years ago (same garbage Altair kills, no improvements whatsoever), same old blood spray from like AC II, same BS way they make weapons interact with enemy bodies (just making weapons enter and leave the digital space of the avatar..if that makes sense, hard to explain). Aside from downgrading combat to hack-and-slash health bar crap, they've done nothing with the game...
EA is lazy and doesn't care. PC would require them to do more than the bare minimum.
Yeah it's no wonder why EA doesn't put much into it. Bare minimum, enough to just push the next one out the door for their low, supplementary income.
The worst part about this rising culture is that they attempt to change content that everyone else consumes. They don't just say "Wow, this is too heavy for me. Not watching this trailer. Made me uncomfortable" or something. No, they say this should not exist, be out in the world because of ME. God these people are weak, thin-skinned, demanding, entitled assholes.
Call Girl was a staple in my party because of this haha
Outfits are great if you can, you know, see them.. but Ubi chose the shitty first-person perspective instead of allowing both FP and 3rd.
