If you understand the business case, MS is trying to leverage the mobile gaming market, Activision is a big part of it. Look at the industry, the biggest gaming segment is mobile gaming. Sorry console and PC lovers, the numbers don't lie. MS is looking at the big picture. What it comes down to is that the primary system of development was the PS5 vs Xbox. The PS5 has significantly more sales numbers. It is probably better optimized for the PS upon release. ReedPop is a good thing for E3, they also do New York Comic Con, Star Wars Celebration, C2E2 (chicago) and many others. They know how to run a solid event.
On a game like Quarry, 30 or 60 FPS is not that big a difference, it's mainly QTE/hold a button with limited slow movement. Not a deal breaker at all. There are only brief moments of action so far, I am only on chapter 5

I think it's just a matter of time until they get to day 1 release. The cost of AAA games is incredibily expensive and in only makes sense from a business case perspective to maximize sales. Everyone slams this on the Xbox, but the faster these companies can recoup their invesment back on games and become profitiable, the quicker they will be able to allocate resources to creating more games/content. I don't see this as a bad thang. I know I am in the minority.
