then I wouldn't be surprised if Sony bought the studio.
Beats is available to download for PSP. Finally, I've been waiting for this. (Unless it's been up for a while and not noticed it)
They were originally within SCE, and then made Polyphony Digital Inc. and are still owned by Sony. Look at what you pasted, I shall note the important parts:
"established Polyphony Digital Inc. in 1998."
"Polyphony Digital Inc. is a subsidiary of Sony Computer Entertainment Inc."

Straight from the horse's mouth, so to speak.
They're the only part of Sony that does PC games since they mainly make MMO's.
And yet, it run its own flagship title (Halo 3) at 640p *stealth edit*. Interesting.

Kazunori Yamauchi and The Stig together is godly. I'd love to see Kazunori Yamauchi's track time.
Sony knows how much of a system seller this game is. They wouldn't let it be available on another platform. This is one of those games that Sony want people to know: If you want to play it, get a PS3.

In fact.. you've put me in the mood for listening to it.
that they're trying to attract. There's still 100+ million PS2 owners that haven't come into the next-gen market yet.
And also, I don't think this would appeal to first time gamers like the Wii does since the controller is still an obstacle for them, which the Wii seems to have overcome.
