This was again the keep the price 399 and launch the console in november. There arent any miracles with a price of 399. New tech and more powerfull cant be 399. Very simple.
i just need to upgrade the PC and 6 teraflops at the end of 2016 is nothing. So why wait. with the pro you get games that you cant play anywhere else.
Nobody will wait a year with the Pro on the market and pumping games after games.
Wait, are people thinking that the Pro will sell like the Xbox S on launch 100k plus? how about one million? or more. And in the holidays? wait is gonna sell 100k worldwide at 399? And on the black friday is gonna sell 50k?
Maybe 20 millions is a big number but people are forgetting the games that are coming out next year. Ok, if GT Sport doesnt come out it will be hard. But the number is gonna be something near that mark 17 or 18 millions.
By the time the scorpio is out sony will already sold 20 million or more of the pro. This holidays are gonna be crazy and the black friday will be total madness with the slim psvr and pro.

Patcher is saying is easy to understand. Without losing huge amount of money on each console they cant sell it at 399. We are talking new apu , new cpu, gpu, 12 gigs of ram, uhd drive and so on. Sony just overclock the same cpu, same memory and put a new gpu, no uhd to reach 399.
Now the pressure is even bigger and after a year they can cut theprice. Sony got a huge advantage. This holidays they are gonna sell like crazy.

Price is what set everything. 399 isnt highend and the console doesnt have any high end tech. Its really the ps4.5
Sorry, but the pro at 399 its not Premium. Its the same price as the ps4 when it was launched 3 years ago.

The cpu is weak, but 33% more power will be enough to reach 60 frames in most 1080p games. And engines will also evolve and get better. Taking more and more from the Pro.
