With the hardware inside the PS3. It's a damn fine package. Even if you're not into gaming, it is a very valuable box to have in your entertainment center. From web browsing, to blu-ray to a streaming media hub to get your movies from your pc to your tv. Add to all of that a FANTASTIC upscaler and you've got great value there.
You'd know that Natal is the product of a ton of MICROSOFT IN HOUSE R&D. It's not the 3DV camera, Natal was in development LONG before that acquisition.
Natal was not "passed by the biggest console compan[ies]" (there is no need for the apostrophe since it is plural, not possessive). Microsoft did not shop their product to other studios. If you are referring to Sony and Nintendo reps stating "We turned down Natal tech" they are just saying that...

Are pre rendered using the game engine. Not rendered outside of the game engine.
They pre render the scene so that there are no frame rate drops. But they are still all in game assets and still rendered using the game engine. This is why the lip sync still sucks in the cutscenes.
It is the same process done in the cutscenes of Gears2, Killzone2, God of War 3, etc etc

And in gears you can see the background CLEARLY. IF you focus the reticle on it! The DEPTH OF FIELD changes depending on what you focus on...sort of like.. a camera! If you played Gears2 you'd know this.
Is the point that because screens were released for KZ3, there HAVE to be in game screens of gears3?

FK the haters. I am floored by the work Remedy put into this game. Lip syncing aside, it's such a beautiful game and just feels so nice to play. What an experience. They really nailed the TV episode feel. Awesome.
I was REALLY looking forward to this, and even after videos and trailers I found myself saying "meh.. red dead is also out, etc etc"
but I am SO glad I picked this up. It just keeps surprising me how well this game comes together as you play it. VERY compelling.
To judge, it just feels and plays incredibly. It really is a fantastic looking game. The forests really feel alive.

People were only dying for exclusives on the 360.
Ps3 has been doing CRAZY well with its exclusives lineup. MS realises that this is how the console competition is shaping up, AND GIVE THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT: A 360 EXCLUSIVE.
And all people can say is "sales would be better if it was multiplat" fucking geniuses.
The sales for ANY GAME EVER MADE would be better if it were released on more platforms.
