It wasn't a matter of people writing down every little thing they said. You are over-simplifying what happened.
They showed gameplay footage along with what they said. There is a very long list of things they said would be in the game that were missing at launch.

This is true. Hell, anytime you start up a new game the first few hours are pretty much spent throwing trophies at you that you didn't even know what you did to earn. I'm not so sure those deserve anything.
I'm usually not a hardass about extra congent being sold post-release for games, unless its just really egregious. But I agree. The launch version of this game does not have $40 worth of content in it. Which is fine. I understand its a small studio. But they need to be sure that the extra content is free. At least to a point. Maps and the single player mode, at least.
If they want to release new counselors and clothes, maybe even Jason X, then I would be okay with them...

I think thats kind of a problem. They need a launch title that really shows off what the Xbox One X can do. I don't know that there is one.
Yes they have. The state that this game released in back in 2013 (i think?) to what it is now is nothing short of incredible.
Also, The Necromancer is loads of fun! Me and my buddy just started playing again this past weekend. The game just keeps getting better and better.

I think the answer is simple. Very few games are released nowadays that have have local co-op features. No split screen. No nothing. The ones that do come out are usually indie games. Not that there is anything wrong with indies, mind you, I love them. But they are for a much smaller crowd than AAA titles. And AAA titles very rarely have local co-op anymore.
But again, thats the whole point of open world games. Very few people will experience every little thing the game has to offer. Can you honestly tell me that you've played any large open world game and found every cave side quest because you chose not to fast travel the first time you went anywhere? I don't believe that for a second, especially since these games aren't about having ONE route to a destination.

This is true. But how annoyong does it get when you are trying to get to a certain destination but you keep getting interrupted on your journey there? Whether its from a random event or a cool new cave to explore?
These games are so large now with so much going on in them that the option to fast gravel is 100% necessary. Otherwise it will take much longer to complete anything, much less the entire game. Hell, I have enough trouble finishing open world games evem with fast ...
Could you imagind if you had to walk everywhere in a game like Skyrim or Fallout or The Witcher 3?

Maybe it was different when you played but I don't see how landing was difficult. I mean, you request docking permission, they tell yo what number landing pad to go to, you go to the pad with the big glowing corresponding number, and then you land.
Landing was hardly difficult. I have a problem with always overshooting my destination when dropping out of Supercruise. Now THAT'S annoying.
Not incremental upgrades. Modular upgrades.
A console with sliding "drawers" that you can add/replace older parts with would be fantastic. Then it would be more in line with PC. They would have to makenit very clear what games work with which upgrades moving intonthe future though.

Even if Xbox One X is on the level of PC's when it releases, how long would it actually stay there? A few months before new hardware comes out for PC's that leave it in the dust again?
The same can be said for any console. Without the ability to do modular upgrades to consoles, none of them will ever truly be on the same level as PC's, performance and graphics-wise. Not for long anyway.
I don't know. His story was cool and tragic. But him as a character? They just didn't do much with him other than give him an undying rage and thirst for revenger. He just ran at everything head first screaming. Not much depth.
Again, love the games. They are a lot of fun.
I've never cared for him either. Loved the games. But Kratos himself has always just been a big brute that screams a lot to me.
I don't agree with that guy's post saying PS4 owners don't need it. This is a hobby. We don't NEED any of it. Bit the game looks great and people want it. Thats what matters.

They don't seem to understand that the Xbox One X is a mid gen console, not a next gen console. PS5 wouldn't be in direct competition with it. They would be in competition with whatever MS's next gen console is. I would hope the PS5 would blow away the Xbox One X, just like I would hope MS's next gen console would blow away the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X.

To be fair they only ever said that multiplayer only exists in the sense that its possible to run across other players. Possible, but not likely. The game world is so large that you may never see another player. And it was proven to be possible to see other players as two people actually did manage to meet up.
The multiplayer complaint is the only one I can't get behind. That seems to be the one thing they made abundantly clear before launch. Anyone that expected a mult...
