True dat. The muzzle effects are a bit underwhelming, but that's all I spotted after nearly 3 runs through. Sure they'll be fixed by then.

The Vita is a powerful piece of hardware that so far is following the idiom of the PS3. Anyone who bought one should feel shivers of justification right about now.
(I bought one but lost it, gotta get me a new one asap)

Someone needs to pull a Would You Kindly on him.

Throwing new laws at a problem never EVER works. It would be like if firemen were instructed to aim for the flames instead of the base.

You want a safer country? Give EVERYONE a gun and make sure that they know how to use it.

Myesss, soon our Vitas will be contraband.

I particularly liked this part - had no idea it was like this:

"Overall Dead Space 3 is far less linear than Dead Space 2, and while it takes place on an entire planet, it isn’t open-world but rather takes a few cues here and there. Introduced in Dead Space 3 are optional missions inline with the game’s main missions. And of cause as the name suggests, they’re completely optional but if player choice to complete them they’ll be rewarded with valuable items. Going off t...

I pretty sure we're more hyped for the PS4, since we've heard next-to-nothing about Durango. Also, M$ has so few games that we can only use our imaginations for launch titles.

You can't be serious....even if it were it's gonna lose that title come May.

I know. The story of Dead Space is getting sadder, not scarier.

Osiris is the god of the dead. I don't see him doing much running, somehow.

I can see that happening. M$ will keep moving to tablets and gimmicks. I wouldn't really mind that myself - I've never owned an Xbox.

The point is that in only took 4 PS3's to pull of an unoptimized 4k demonstration of an already beautiful-looking game.

IMO, the PS4 need only be 2-3x as powerful as the PS3 (with optimization) to enable quite a slew of 4K games. Sure, AAA games probably won't see much of it, but then again, GT games are what I'd consider AAA.

Yeah, I'm hoping they make Uncharted 4, but stop right there. Don't want the series to end on a weak note.

What do you mean? The phat PS3's were the best design to date! Stand them upright and they look like a big black obelisk. Of Doom.

And later models dropped the silver lettering of "PLAYSTATION 3" for a less ceremonious "PS3" indent. Not cool IMO.

I think Sony would disagree with you:

Shooters see the most difference, and anything with multiplayer.

Try gaming in 60fps multiplayer and then going back. It'd be like shooting yourself in the foot. Or falling into a bowl of porridge.

The point of the interview is that Calhoun wanted to make the game appealing to casuals *on the surface* (i.e. Co-op, action-ey demo, microtransactions, trailers, etc) but in reality those are smaller aspects of the game and the faithful needn't worry.

We won't know till release whether or not he toed the line like he says they did. Day 1 for me though.
