space SIM has been dying for awhile now, but it's on the rise now again.
It's about exploration and the wonder of accidents. The payoff is when you come across a random fight or another explorer in the deep of space and make new friends that way. Get sucked in and whatnot. I found it quite primal.

It's about the asthetic of having a single, sexy console on an immaculate entertainment center. I value simplicity married with functionality. That's why I loved PS3 so much - even if it fell short frequently - it never lost sight of its mission: To do many things; and do them well. It was, for years, the only thing on my entertainment center... I miss that.
PS4 better shape up soon. No one gets a free pass in my book.

IMO Resogun is the prettiest and most fun launch title. I find myself constantly dropping into it when I want to burn a few minutes.
