Well yes, it's a tough time for console developers, seeing as mobile and tablet gaming is becoming the pecuniary elephant in the room.
As far as I'm concerned, they have cart-Blanche to do whatever they need to resist the behemoth of the Angry Birds crowd. Though it would be nice if they kept the content relevant and fun.

Good list, except for the Riddick game. I rather liked the " tag-you're-Riddick " mode.
I bought a Wii a year ago solely to play Skyward Sword. While the game was very good, I can't really say I'll miss the Wii.

The problem with an Old Crowd is that it perpetually gets smaller. Accessibility is not an evil. It is something that is taking gaming out of the Dark Ages and at worst making it a more acceptable pastime.
So you'd rather retain archaic features that endeared you to a game while keeping casuals and *near-gamers* away. Oh yeah, you're hardcore. Big Man, you. Your type does wonders for the gaming world.

Newsflash: Movies made from games *NEVER* get it right.
One reason I haven't switched entirely to PC gaming is because game paddles used with PC games don't have force-feedback like their console brethren.
