Seriously? This article is bullshit. I'd say that Halo Reach wins in comparisons 2 and 3, and the screenshots used in comparisons 1 and 4 are leaked, and therefore not representative of final game graphics. If you're going to make comparisons like this, wait at least until we see some proper publicity material or gameplay.
Ridiculous.
Word. Looks beautiful in 1080p at 60fps on my PC. :3
Actually Insomnia, I think you'll find it doesn't play all games at 60fps. If the game doesn't run at 60fps, your TV can't show it at 60fps. Even if you have a 100" HDTV, watching standard definition video on it will not made it high definition. Get it?
Waaant.
It's not the first time, this is a re-release on the re-branded Classics range.
Yeah, I'm gonna have to agree with the majority here, this Alyx looks awful. Sure, they switched the model to that of a "more attractive" woman, but in doing so they've lost Alyx's entire appeal, and while I feel uncomfortable mentioning it, xer0 is correct, Eli is not Caucasian, so why is Alyx so white?
A 1080p LCD monitor and a new graphics card. :3
Is it bad that I can't tell a difference?
If you've seriously got no legs, I think you should sue all the people who make driving game arcade cabinets because you can't use the pedals. That's clearly discriminating against you because, uh, you have no legs.
It's worth noting that only the Character Creator's page is displaying the R18 certificate, whereas your link only accounts for the game itself. Additionally, it's interesting on its own to see that there's an R18 image uploaded on Steam in the first place, considering that you don't get "video game porn" in the UK.
Maybe so, but the BBFC only gave Mass Effect an age rating of "12".
I write "Connor Beaton writes" because it's an N4G submission guideline. I unfortunately cannot quote directly from the article because then any instances of "I" or "We" are out of context. I have to either change all of those instances to "Connor" or "zConnection" (which is tedious) or simply preface the description with the aforementioned text.
"Port of some iPhone game"? This is a fully HD puzzler which has received quite a lot of backing from Sony; I had the opportunity to play it in August but unfortunately I don't believe there is a UK release yet, which is a shame because it's a stunningly fun game.
I agree, but... he is (surprisingly) making sense.
Not as good as your brains... mmm.
I'd have put GoWIII in second and Heavy Rain in first, and probably would have put MAG on the actual list somewhere.
Every f cking console is "doomed". If you're going to be a fanboy, GTFO the Open Zone. If a 3-4 year run with extraordinary sales (exceeding the PS3 at the moment, I might mention) is a failure, I don't know who taught you the meaning of the word.
The PlayStation 3 is technically also "doomed". Give it a few years and exclusives will be running out, sales levelling, fan support failing. Know why? Because it's reaching the end of its life span. Everything is &q...
Are you forgetting that Super Mario All-Stars was the first time The Lost Levels was released outside of Japan, and the first time Super Mario USA was released in Japan? That collection included an entirely new game.
Just heard less than an hour ago. He will be missed.
Yay, a British newspaper uncomfortably close to Ron Liddle wrote a paragraph about Heavy Rain. Rejoice...?
