Do you ship internationally?
You just posted a fucking press release as a piece of news.
Good article - really puts the Mushroom Kingdomn in perspective. The faux utopia argument could arguably be used for some of the Zelda games as well, what with the monarchy and the increasing signs of poverty as you move further from Hyrule Castle.
God, escort missions really are fucking annoying. Tell you what though, I also hate how so many developers are trying to shoe-horn multiplayer or co-op into games that really could do without it. :/
Mm, I think that Kinect won't really work for the 360's demographic, as much as it is an inspiring piece of tech. Everything we've been shown seems more like a technology demo than an actual game, and I don't see any proper uses for it. I agree with the closing statements that somebody will find it worth the $150 price tag, but I doubt it'll be anyone who hasn't already got another console or past-time to amuse themselves with, or a die-hard Microsoft fan if those exis...
Oops, forgot to mention that in the article. CPU's clocked at 2.4 GHz according to Nintendo, which is necessary to process the images from the 3D camera.
It's my job to report the news, it's the reader's choice to decide whether or not they think it's a legitimate rumour. I'm just explaining why I don't think this rumour is particularly believable.
It would help this rumour's authenticity if the poster actually had a reliable source. How do we know JasonA didn't make it himself?
Yoshi's a girl? Then... what the hell is Birdo? I thought Birdo was like, a cross-dresser. How can a male Yoshi be even less masculine than a female one?
No, they're not, these are screenshots that have actually been rendered in true 1080p high definition by using a Wii emulator on PC.
Didn't you read the article? "Best known for Nine Inch Nails, an industrial rock “band” of which he is the only official member, creating music through extensive use of multitracking and synthesisers, he was also responsible for scoring the original Quake in 1996. The NIN logo also makes a cameo appearance in the game on the side of nailgun ammunition." That's in the second paragraph.
To be honest, I'd love an iPhone-esque glass capacitative display. The only problem there is that you'd need a special capacitative stylus if you wanted to use a stylus.
Maybe it'll twist round to make one massive ultra-widescreen display.
Actually, I enjoyed BioShock 2 more than the original. The plot may have been lacking in the twist department, but the multiplayer and dual-wielding were awesome.
Hilarious and disturbingly true. Good read.
Valve isn't a first party studio because they're independent and not owned by Microsoft. They're not owned by EA either, EA just do their publishing work. Check your facts in future.
Better idea: upgrade your PC.
