I have a feeling they will release a console with portable gaming tablet. But their unique way to play will be the ability to use any tablet with their console. BYO second screen.
It was the best selling game digitally on the xbox one during Christmas week. It also debuted at no 4 in the uk charts against games like fallout, halo and COD.
The problem is digital game sales are not tracked.
Yeah i have 2401 hours. Although i do have 2 consoles, one used by the rest of the family. I also use the xbox ones as media centres and tv/music is played through them.
I compared mine to yours. What's interesting is that my gamer score since January was just under 7000, I unlocked 368 achievements and I also placed in the top1% for these.
I have noticed a few times an app like Netflix won't work and fails to load. I hard rest the console and it fixes the problem. The strange thing is that sometime it happens when I have just turned the console on after being unplugged, other times it occurs after it has been in standby mode.
They install updates seperately on ps4. Xbox one downloads updates during install and does it all together.
It is slow, but you can speed it up with an external drive. The external takes about 1/3 off loading and install speeds for me. The reason it is slower than the ps4 is that it installs updates and patches during install, the ps4 does it seperately.
For someone talking about flaws you should really proof read your article first. As for the closing line, "one upping them at every corner", really. Backwards compatibility, hdd support for playing various media, better controller ( a subjective opinion yes, but one with more validity than this whole article).
These opinion pieces are annoying lets just game. The ps4 is great and does so many things better than the Xbox one, BUT, the Xbox one is also a great consol...
Or they team up with Samsung for a Nintendo S8 phone.
The problem is that unless they use similar architecture, then for 3rd party Multiplatform games, it needs to be more powerful than the ps4/Xbox one. If it's completely different architecture and the same power or weaker, porting 3rd party games will be more difficult for developers. This will lead to many not doing it as more development time = more costs.
The funny thing about the ps3 being $599 is that at the time it was one of the cheapest blu ray players on the market. It was actually a great price.
Plus if you are a rewards member you get cashback points, which at the moment is 5-10% of your purchase, depending on your star level.
I wasn't just talking about the tomb raider bundle. Not sure about other countries but in Australia retailers are offering tomb raider with heaps of other bundles as a bonus. For example the fallout bundle can be bought with tomb raider as an add on. Basically heaps of games are being included to boost console sales and with the Xbox tomb raider seems to be the main game.

As per my comment below. Tomb raider was bundled with many consoles, these sales would not have counted in any game charts. I do think tomb raider did better than people are willing to admit due to this.
I'm not saying tomb raider was a huge success, but I do think many are missing one key aspect in game sales. Tomb raider was bundled with a huge number of consoles and the Xbox sold quite well over the last few weeks. None of the games bundled with the system would have counted towards game sales. So everyone saying that it was a flop due to low sales might be missing the vast number of sales.

The timed exclusive may have been responsible for poor sales, but the release date was also crazy. I bought tomb raider day 1, but I still havnt opened the box. Why? Well fallout 4,halo, Star Wars etc. they should have released it at a time that would allow people to get caught up in the hype. I.e. Not with fallout 4 and halo. Every review I saw saying how great it is were quickly pushed off the headlines by other games.
You saved me writing some of what I was going to write. Kojima certainly makes great games, but he always spends quite a few years creating them. With this in mind I wouldn't expect a game for 3 years at the earliest, but most likely 4+. At that point will it be a ps5 game or ps4 game. Who knows, but time will tell.
Personally I wouldn't mind a return to P.T.
I guess the problem with blood borne is that there will always be those, like me, who disliked the game. I spent about 10 hours trying to like it and just didn't. Having said that I spent enough time playing to see why some people would absolutely love the game, it's just not for everyone.
Lol. I should have read past the fist paragraph then. I started reading and thought it was another hate article and just switched off. So much hate for both systems gets tiring, they both do so many things well.
But thanks, lesson learnt, if I read an article I should move past the first paragraph instead of pressing back too soon.
My house is too big and the second screen never went further than my kitchen. :-(
