Even worse the legacy edition was made exclusive to ebgames in australia. That makes it $50+ more than what i can get the standard edition elseswhere.

If they make a hybrid console and only have to make games for 1 platform they can make enough games i think.
In response to your comment below the n64 was more powerful than the ps1. The ps2 was the weakest console of its generation. You should check out the technical power of each.
The wii and wii u were underpowered compared to other consoles of their generation.

Also Christmas is going to be about PSVR hype. Waiting until the hype settles a bit is smart. Plus the wait after the Wii U was launched for games was terrible. I had played all the games I wanted by January and then there was nothing until the lego game in March, which I disliked. After this it was another few months for Pikmin 3.
Pretty sure they will be more prepared with the NX. At least I hope so anyway.
I loved the beta. It played like gears and was great fun. My only issue was the graphics being too clean. Gears is dark and broody so I hope it keeps that atmosphere. Of course its a pre beta alpha beta or whatever the hell it was so that could change.
Regardless it is my most sought after game this year.
Also usually from Christmas to march very few high quality games are released. So consumers will be on the look out for more games. If the NX has those new games it might persuade people to buy one.

I bought every cod until the last entry. Havnt really enjoyed the multiplayer for years. I did think the advanced warfare campaign was pretty good though.

I have no idea why that would get downvotes. Nintendo are almost certainly working on a 3ds successor. Whether this is the nx or something else your comment would still be correct.

They are worried about flagging sales. So with that in mind and knowing they are out of ideas they are doing this. It is a smart move as each COD release sees less interest from fans. That doesn't mean I agree with this decision, its certainly not showing any consideration for fans of the series. From a business perspective, however its a very smart move. From a loyalty and fan perspective its not nice.
Definitely, it was a great game to play.
This is a great game, one of the better ones this gen. If you have yet to play it then I highly recommend it.

40% of active gamers!! Whoever believes that statement is lacking knowledge. Lets assume 40% of gamers even wanted to buy a VR headset in the next year, manufacturers would not be able to produce that volume of headsets. It would take a few years to even manufacture them in the volumes needed to reach 40% of gamers.
40% of PS4 gamers alone is 16 million PSVR headsets. I also saw an article last year stating there were 125 million active steam users. So that would be 50 million active...

Cartridges can load faster and don't need to be installed to hdd. They both have advantages.
