@SolidGamerX
Chopsticks? Whatever. My point is a person with any kind of dexterity has a skill. Curry may be a sharpshooter but can he own someone at Smash? A skill is a skill. Time moves forward. New words are created. Call it what you want. I'm just a gamer.
Yes, you are correct. Video games are not a sport. It's an "e-sport". Calling video games just sports is like saying the NBA is an e-sport. Video games require dexterity with a controller so it is a sport per-se but in a electronic form. E-sport name is perfectly fine in my opinion. Just don't go calling it a sport.
Sega was way way ahead of its time :)
Miyamoto should make them watch all Mario Bros Super show, The Adventures of Mario 3 and Super Mario World episodes as a prerequisite. I thought the Mario Bros cartoons were brilliant.
No matter what the excuse is, the point is Nintendo went from 3DS to 2DS.
As some have brought out already, 2DS completely erases the whole point of the 3DS too it some sense.
I disagree @deafdani. I can understand your logic if two high profile Nintendo games where in the same genre realest at the same time. But Mario and Zelda are like apples and oranges. Some people like apples. Some prefer an orange. Variety at launch is always better.
Gamers weren't going to be fooled again? Speak for yourself. I always view Nintendo home consoles as complementary systems. Majority of the people buy Nintendo consoles for their 1st party games. So Nintendo releases a high spec system ala GameCube era and then what's the excuse if 3rd party studios still don't jump ship? Sounds like you don't really own a Wii U but who knows. Of course you may make the claim that you own one but most "gamers" who actually do own the...
A dedicated gaming platform with a new concept could just mean a Wii U on the go. The new concept part could mean it's a home console and a portable device. Power isn't everything. PS Vita vs 3DS?
Not really fair how Nintendo is handling this. OH. Right.
"There isn't any shelf space for the least common ones."
Then that is what Amazon and other like ecommerce sites is for genius . : l
Yes, the Vita did beat the 3DS. But add 3DS and 3DS LL, then you have the Vita beat.
I'm curious as to why the Wii Us VC doesn't at least match the Wii's from the get go? Why are they trickle releasing again?
Way too soon to be talking about a successor. Releasing another console "within" 2 years is just suicide. Let's enjoy what we have and hope for some surprises at E3.
Made up story/specs for clicks. So obvious. You guys can be gullible. I'm not falling for that.
When I click on the Vita page, I don't see no doom or gloom articles. I don't get it.
If journalism wants to exaggerate Wii U failings, then it's only fair to bring out Vita failings. Is Sony going the way of Sega also?
Seems like Nintendo is spacing their games 3 months apart. Mario in November. Donkey Kong purposely delayed until February even though it is complete. Sorry Nintendo. I don't buy your excuse that "more time was needed to finish the title. Mario Kart in May. Then Smash Bros. in August. A major release in November. Maybe Zelda? Who knows. Yoshi's Yarn somewhere in between from March to November.
Is Sony Finished? I mean it must be because Vitas are not selling too good :-| "Is Nintendo Finished?" Oh c'mon! At least mention the success of the 3DS. No, Nintendo is not finished.
But it hasn't even been out a year yet? Give it a chance :-/
How come eSport can't be its own word? A sport does not have the same meaning as eSport correct?
