The average playtime was 40 hours.
Why all the disagrees? Starfield does do questing better. And No Man's does exploring better. Crafting maybe about equal? These are 2 diffrent games really. In Super Mario Galaxy, space is a theme and setting. Starfeild is simply a Bethesda style RPG set in space. It's that simple.
Fair enough. But which game does questing better? Starfield is a Bethesda RPG first and foremost. No Man's Sky was always about the exploration.
No effort needed really. Onions, sandwiches etc. are 3d scanned objects. Even I can create this in blender with little effort. Most of you guys here have nothing better to do then put down the game. That is what's sad. Just mind your busniness and game on.
This new game is more inspired by Sonic Generations in my opnion. Not Sonic 4.
The CMA speaks for the UK only.
I think this could backfire with the UK. UK is a small island compared to the EU, correct? CMA is on their own on this one, I think. I would assume the market in the UK is smaller than that of the EU? I also think the CMA can't dictate the worlds tech sector. Microsoft could easily pull out of the UK. Then Sony would become a monopoly their. Prices could increase? Or I'm just overthinking it? CMA asked for it. For the gamers, huh? But ya'll UK gamers might not get xbox and Activis...
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but if this deal gets approved everywhere but the UK, wouldn't that mean no Activision games in UK only? CMA is supposed to have gamers interest but gamers in the UK might end up with nothing from said publisher?
I'm natural in this stance. I'm not taking sides with Sony or Microsoft, but it kind of seems the CMA was grasping for straws at the last minute. Kind of like one of those "see to it" that this deal doesn't go through. If Microsoft appeal follows through, and cloud providers are saying otherwise, how will CMA respond to this?
@Eonjay
"Exactly this. By keeping Call of Duty as a paid game on PlayStation but making it 'free' on Game Pass you diminish the value of the PlayStation version and make the Xbox version much more attractive."
Then what is it then? Not everybody has or is interested in Game Pass. Those folks still have to buy their games. Parity is parity. If it's on day one on Game Pass, then expect the same for Playstation now. Microsoft made that ...
Your argumented is very one sided and lopsided. For those whom do not have Game Pass ... they are left with what option?
Second of all, 10 years of parity would mean Microsoft would also have to make it free and available day one on Playstation Now.
The title should be: Microsoft looks to Sony... for help in its defense against FTC lawsuit.
You guys are making it seemed like Microsoft is crying to Sony for help. However, as it turns out, it's to help them, Microsoft, in their defense against the FTC lawsuit.
Many of you guys are reading it the wrong way. Definitely clickbatable.
The fact of the matter is he should have kept his mouth shut. Just the way it was worded, he fucked up. It leaves a wrong impression no matter how you try to spin it. For all we know he could have been relating some info he had lunch over from his close colleagues in that said department. We don't know. Anything said after the fact is called... damage control.
The Super Mario Bros. Super Show was brilliant and ahead of it's time I believe. For those who don't know, it was based on Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros. 2. The Adventures of Super Mario 3 cartoon series was my favorite though. They also had a cartoon series based on World. It's obvious the majority on here didn't watch those as they prefere the modern more annoying, squeaky voice of the videogames.
Damn, what happens if we can play the next Forza Motorsport single-player content offline in its entirety? PD will never hear the end of it.
I got to hand it to Activision. It seems like they found a sweet spot for their remakes. Nintendo is just arrogant Nintendo.
Still in their honeymoon phase.
Far Cry 4' has a brilliant alternate ending that makes the game around 15 minutes - for those who like their games nice and short :)
I was thinking alone the lines of Jet Set Radio. Interesting nevertheless.
SPEAKcTHExTRUTH exactly, they are just surfface level thinking. If you think about it, almost every big franchise "Copy Paste" its own formula. Call of Duty is basically the same loop every year with new maps/weapons. Sports games like FIFA or 2K barely change outside of rosters. Even beloved series like Pokémon, Final Fantasy, or Zelda recycle core mechanics while making tweaks or expanding on them.
