They don't have to resurrect any servers. Just shut down the ones for SOCOM 4 that are going unused. No one plays that garbage game anyway. Wouldn't be hard to patch/ ban with the PS Network.
They can save money by making it online only and skipping the campaign. And a couple? A COUPLE? Try more than stupid ICO and Sly. Would easily sell 1,000,000+ in the first week. The hype for the announcement of that game would be incredible.

Not with SOCOM 2. First ever online console shooter (SOCOM 1 actually, but whatever). Everyone from the SOCOM community wants S2-HD....mainly because every SOCOM afterwards has sucked monkey nuts.
Hell...I still go back and play it with the servers still up 8 years later. Most addicting online play ever.

BF3 is better but that's not saying much. Both are pretty bad. Neither promotes teamwork. I watch my team get dummied all game long and then I decide I'm just gonna go Rambo and do it myself because they can't do anything.
Gamers on the PS3 prob don't give a damn about this, I don't (I've never heard of it). Not when we have a plethora of games coming out this year...like the past few years. PS 100% sure this will get disagrees, but it's the truth.

CoD4 without a doubt came as close to a real war that I've ever seen. Then they got too futuristic and out of hand with Russia invading. They forgot to mention the whole nuke thing.

I got the PS3 version...$40 new, I coulda got on gamefly for $15 but already bought from amazon.
Numerous theories exist...One FACT is that the only dominate game on the 360 is Halo, that's their hit game. MS has to figure, why go out and take risks (like they did with Alan Wake-Fail) when we can make HALO repeatedly and have it sell millions of copies. Yes, they have Forza and Gears. 3 primary franchises. The PS3 on the other hand has new franchises and fantastic ones every year(Uncharted, GT5, Infamous, Resistance (I used to like it, it sucks now) Killzone (not interesting anymore)...
I heard great things about Portal, heard Portal 2 was amazing also. Got it used from Amazon for $20 for Christmas. I gotta tell ya, I usually get the platinum for games and then sell them but I think I'll keep this one.
It makes me actually think, unlike most college classes I take. The physics and all that good stuff are amazing.
It's fake...Valve is not going to just come out and announce it. It's also fake for that very reason, the rumors have been heating up and some douche-bag will think it's funny to joke about one of the most anticipated games in a long time (I never played the Half-Life games but I know they were good and people will lose their s*** if it gets announced).
Does anyone know if this ban will continue on in future MW/CoD games because if that's the case, I'm gonna go on right now and hack so I can get banned and have no reason to get sucked into buying these god awful games anymore.

The reason we want an HD remake is because today's market is filled with garbage FPS's. We want the community back from 2004, the people we played with. No other game today has a sense of community.
Sure we could all go back and play S2 again...but then every Code 9'er would go back on also.
