@RogueOne Software support? You can natively map DS4 buttons within PS4 firmware, You have been able to do that since March of last year. I mean yeah they have no paddles but meh, Really only necessary if you are professional.. even then, Scuff is an option.
I dunno, It's not necessary really. For professional gamers yeah.. in which case there is lots of options.. but for the average gamer. DS4 works fine. It's a nice option, But not necessary.
One thing I will say about Hello Games in a positive light is they are really quick at versatility in response to bug fixes and patching. From when they went gold until they passed cert they have patched the game immensely. I also like how The president/ceo responds instead of someone we don't know. I like the indie aspect when it comes to gaming.
Very true. Typically a 7.2 you would also think 8 or a 6 depending on who is playing. For me it's around an 8.5. 50 hours in.. I'm loving it. N4G is a fun place. But people will down vote games if it isn't on their platform alone regardless if it's uncharted or NMS. I typically buy games and try them. Many times have I found that my tastes vs reviews don't match up and I am glad I did. The only time I was ever burned was with WatchDogs.
This game doesn't hold your hand. The point is to find slots to get a bigger inventory. The struggle is meant to be their so when you do achieve something it feels like you earned it.
I'm gonna have to dis-agree with you on this one. First of all, it helps if you play the game to get actually know if you like the game or not. 50 hours in and while in the review he does point out some flaws I agree with, I have to question some of his issues as well.
As far as multiplayer and the media go. What the media portray as a headline and something to diminish the game over doesn't fit into what I consider siting down and enjoying the game. Good talking p...
Sony as we know it will crash and burn into eternity !!!! Mauhahahahahaha!!!!.... k, maybe that's a bit much. Gonna have to go with @mathsman on this one. Means it will probably be delayed.
Love me some no mans sky. Great game.
Agreed man. It's a great game. I love it to :)
Fair review indeed. This is what I'd rate the game as well if I was recommending it to someone. In my head it's a 9 but Realizing everyone doesn't like the same things I do I'd say a 7 to an 8. Still fair points are made. Great review.
If you love something, Never be ashamed of it. Gaming is subjective and no mans sky in my opinion is a great game. It runs fine on PS4 without any issues and I love discovery... Sure it's a grind fest but for many that's fun. Just remember a difference in opinion doesn't mean you are wrong even if it gets down voted to hell. people on this site will down vote things just because it doesn't fit their narrative. Just be happy you found a game you like and enjoy it for what it is...
Yeah, Wild and Gravity Rush for me.
Wild peaks my interest. I got to play the tomorrow children during a closed beta maybe half a year ago. It was okay, Another one to add would be David Jaffee's Drawn To Death. It was pretty cool when I played it during beta months ago.
EA Access is a distribution model like steam. Where as Now is an on demand service where you don't have to download or install your game but is dependent on the network. 2 different models. PlayStation already has this in the sense of digital distribution.. just not in a subscription sense.. although it would be dope if they did that with their first party titles.. Either way one could argue that now has no install times nor download times and you can just play any games the service offe...
This is a common misconception. While fiber travels at the speed of light literally using light to transfer your data. The key factor here is the network speed. Google Fiber doesn't advertise their speed. They advertise their bandwidth. Bandwidth is how much data at once or per second you can fit down your line to your house basically.. not how fast. Although fiber is fast as hell and much faster than copper (Cable Internet) it still has issues and relies on servers and routers to route i...
^ He gets it.. kinda... Bravo *clap *clap *clap *clap
Although fps and network lag or compute latency are different things.
Your middle paragraph states that 60fps makes up for this. The gpu is last output before it hits the screen. Any input or output lag that is controlled by the engine won't be fixed by the gpu, The gpu will just display whatever it's told. The calculation from the cloud would come back to your console and sync with whatever pa...
@andibandit Saying some actions can not be predicted doesn't make your point relevant. Anything dynamic will have issues with lag because it has to be processed after your button press and then transferred across a network, processed and sent back and lined up in the time of the button press while keeping everything else in sync. So lets say you shoot a car with a rocket.. that has to be processed and sent out and back, it will blow up a second or 2 later while your fx's say processed...
@the_infected This is true locally, but you are still relying on your console to process and re-act to your inputs and send them out over the network for the cloud servers to process and back. Their is no way for the console to know what button you are about to press so it has to do it after you press the button.. which means it will have to package that up and send whatever data that button press did on the screen I.E - destroy some environment, Changing of effects on screen, Sound etc and s...
Can't wait until my last exam is done tomorrow so I can get back to this game.
