Agreed. Its draw is 4k and a massive percentage just don't have 4k tvs yet. Not to mention the only people who are probably going to upgrade are enthusiasts and hardcore gamers. If everyone thinks everyone that owns an xbox one is re-upping you are dreaming lol.
I think everyone is missing the point on what makes a good ecosystem. It's straight up games. Sony does well with exclusives and has the more powerful machine at the moment. Microsoft having the most powerful machine will be good for them for 3rd party games I guess but I can't see more than the hardcore crowd re-upping for it until 4k tv's become a standard. Yeah. They are going to need some exclusives. I understand everyone is excited about a beefy machine but without great games and a 4k tv, there really is no reason to buy this if you already have an Xbox one..

@Death They do contact retailers for numbers. The size of the team doesn't necessarily matter. NPD leaves out certain retailers as well as other forms of sales like some online retail. They both have their faults. Like the analogy though.
@Muziguy I've noticed this to however they get adjust as late data comes in. Some retailers don't get back to them within that week so they get adjusted down the line which is a coherent problem and would say that their results...

Wen you compare it with how NPD collects their data... it's somewhat similar.
Typically I find the people of the console with the lower sales numbers every cycle discredit VGChartz cause they have the highest frequency of sales numbers as they release them weekly.

So your logic is they won't find ways to cheat if a good system is put in to place. That's ass backwards. A good Anti-Cheat systems will most likely be put into place because they know PC players will cheat with Aim-bots..and various other tools and tricks. Not all, But some. Also not a very good example as most the online games on PC still have readily available cheats for them which is bull-crap and is still an issue.

Diablo 3,2 and 1 all had cheating. If you got to Google or YouTube and type PC cheats for Diablo 3 your will find plenty. Just as you will with almost any multiplayer game for PC. You will also probably find some for consoles but to a lesser extend and which are harder to deploy as well.
