I honestly don't understand why all the rush to purchase a PS4. There is no "killer" game released for the PS4 so far, why are people in such a hurry to purchase it. The best games (or bigger games) are still to be released. I understand die hard fanboys purchasing the console in the first day, but the rest...

The problem with the X1 is that it's not specifically designed to be a gaming console. It's a box that does everything... but doesn't do anything specially well.

If this is true, then this is getting ugly for the X1. It's unacceptable that a new console can't handle games at 1080p/60fps as a norm.
Unless Microsoft releases juggernaut exclusives like GTA/Read Dead or something similar on their console, no way in hell I'm purchasing the X1. Halo is a big game, but I'll never buy a console simply for a FPS. Yes there are few X1 exclusives that i would like to play, but nothing that really justifies the purchase of a 500€ ...

Forcing Kinect with every X1 (bringing the price up) is one of the dumbest moves I have ever seen from a gaming company... specially for a console that's weaker then it's main competitor and 100€ more expensive.
If Microsoft wants a chance to even compete with the PS4, they need a 350$/350€ Kinectless X1.
I predict console distribution for this console gen:
5-15% Wii-U
25-35% X1 (with the USA market having a big chunk of that percentage)
55-65% PS4
With the X1's bad press, higher price and weaker hardware, nobody expected the X1 to outsell the PS4... not even Microsoft.
Microsoft are clearly pointing their batteries to the USA and UK market, and they can't even outsell the PS4 in those markets. As time goes by the gap will become wider and wider (world sales), unless Microsoft does something to change that... maybe more quality exclusives, cheaper Kinectless X1 and improvement of XBLA Gold (compared to PS+) offe...
